effort. Consult a workshop.

Illuminates green
The system is switched on and
ready to operate.
Flashes yellow
The system recognises an
unintended lane change.
Ultrasonic Parking
Sensor Light

illuminates yellow.
Fault in system
or
Fault due to sensors that are dirty or
covered by ice or snow or
Interference due to external sources
of ultrasound. Once the source of
interference is removed, the system
will operate normally.
Have the cause of the fault in the
system remedied by a workshop.

Illuminated
A fault in the system is present.
Continued driving is possible.
Driving stability, however, may
deteriorate depending on road
surface conditions.
Have the cause of the fault
remedied by a workshop.
Flashes
The system is actively engaged. Engine output may be reduced and
the vehicle may be braked
automatically to a small degree.

This light tells you that the engine
coolant has overheated.
If you have been operating your
vehicle under normal driving
conditions, you should pull off the
road, stop your vehicle and let the
engine idle for a few minutes.

unfastened seat belts has priority
over any other warning chime.
When starting the engine or
whilst driving

. If a certain speed is exceeded
with parking brake applied.
. If a programmed speed is
exceeded.
. If a warning message or a
warning code appears in the
Driver Information Centre.
. If the parking assist detects an

. If reverse gear is engaged and
the rear end carrier is extended.

Never coast with engine not
running (except during
Autostop)
Many systems will not function in
this situation (e.g. brake servo unit,
power steering). Driving in this
manner is a danger to yourself and
others.
Idle boost
If charging of the vehicle battery is
required due to vehicle battery
condition, the power output of the
alternator must be increased. This
will be achieved by an idle boost
which may be audible.
Pedals
To ensure the pedal travel is
uninhibited, there must be no mats
in the area of the pedals.
