.When the ignition switch is placed in the
OFF position and then back to the ON
position.
WARNING
.Do not use the MOD system when
towing a trailer. The system may not
function properly.
. Excessive noise (for example, audio
system volume or open vehicle
window) will interfere with the
chime sound, and it may not be
heard.
. The MOD system performance will
be limited according to environmen-
tal conditions and surrounding ob-
jects such as:
Ð When there is low contrast be-
tween background and the mov-
ing objects
Ð When there is blinking source of light.
Ð When strong light such as an- other vehicle's headlight or sun-
light is present. Ð When there is dirt, water drops
or snow on the camera lens.
Ð When the position of the moving objects in the display is not
changed.
. The MOD system might detect flow-
ing water droplets on the camera
lens, white smoke from the muffler,
moving shadows, etc.
. The MOD system may not function
properly depending on the speed,
direction, distance or shape of the
moving objects.
. If your vehicle sustains damage to
the parts where the camera is
installed, leaving it misaligned or
bent, the sensing zone may be
altered and the MOD system may
not detect objects properly.
. When the temperature is extremely
high or low, the screen may not
display objects clearly. This is not a
malfunction.

SETTING MOVING OBJECT DETEC-
TION (MOD) ON/OFF

Moving Object Detection (MOD):
When this item is set to ON, the MOD is
activated. When this item is turned to OFF
(indicator turns off) , the MOD system is
deactivated.

view, the system is not functioning properly. This

. Do not damage the camera as the
monitor screen may be adversely

. The screen displayed on the Around View
Monitor will automatically return to the
previous screen when no operation takes
place for 3 minutes after the CAMERA
button has been pushed while the shift lever
is in a position other than the ªRº (Reverse)
position.
. The display of images on the screen may be
delayed after screens are switched.
. When the temperature is extremely high or
low, the screen may not display objects
clearly. This is not a malfunction.
. When strong light directly shines on the
camera, objects may not be displayed
clearly. This is not a malfunction.
. The screen may flicker under fluorescent
light. This is not a malfunction.
. The colors of objects on the Around View
Monitor may differ somewhat from those of
the actual object. .
Objects on the monitor may not be clear and
the color of the object may differ in a dark
location or at night. This is not a malfunction.
. There may be differences in clearness
between each camera view of the bird's-
eye view.
. If dirt, rain or snow attaches to the camera,
the Around View Monitor may not display
objects clearly. Clean the camera.
. Do not use wax on the camera window.
Wipe off any wax with a clean cloth that has
been dampened with a mild detergent
diluted with water.

for approximately 10 minutes at least once a
month. This helps prevent damage to the air
conditioner system due to the lack of lubrication.
Cooling:

and the cool position.
. For quick cooling when the outside tem-
perature is high, push the air recirculation
button to switch to the air recirculation
mode. (The indicator light turns on.) Be sure
to turn off the air recirculation mode for
normal cooling.
. A visible mist may be seen coming from the
ventilators in hot, humid conditions as the air
is cooled rapidly. This does not indicate a
malfunction.
Dehumidified heating:

air.

dehumidify the air.
1. Push the front defroster button
on. (The
indicator light turns on.)
2. Push the fan speed control buttons to set the desired fan speed.
3. Push the temperature control buttons to set the desired temperature.
When the
mode is selected, the air
conditioner will automatically turn on. This will
dehumidify the air and help to defog the
windows.
To remove frost from the outside surface of the
windshield quickly, set the temperature to the
maximum hot position and the fan speed to
maximum position.

Operating from front control buttons:GUID-D73A39BF-43C8-459F-9C24-47B7F579C407To control the rear air conditioning system
independently with the front air conditioner
control panel, push the ªREARº button. When
the rear air conditioning system control is on, the
indicator light on the ªREARº button will
illuminate and ªREARº will appear on the display.
In this state, the rear air conditioning system can
be adjusted with the front air conditioner control
panel. However, if no operation is conducted for
approximately 10 seconds after the ªREARº
button is pushed, the front air conditioner
control panel will automatically switch to the
front air conditioning mode.
To cancel the rear air conditioning mode and
switch back to the front air conditioning mode,
push ªREARº button one more time.
. Temperature control
Push the temperature control buttons

temperature.
. Fan speed control

. Rear Heating (A/C off)
1. Push the ªREARº button to display ªREARº on the front display when the rear air
conditioning system is on.
2. Switch the air flow mode to
by pressing
the ªMODEº button.
3. If the A/C indicator light illuminates, push the ªA/Cº button. (The A/C indicator light will
turn off.)

temperature between the middle and the
hot position.
. To dehumidify the air, push the ªA/Cº button
before turning on the heater. .
Air does not blow out from the vents on the
ceiling when the system is used for heating.
