Daytime runninglightsystem (forNISMO
models andCanada)

The daytime runninglightsautomatically illumi-
nate when theengine isstarted withtheparking
brake released. Thedaytime runninglights
operate withtheheadlight switchinthe OFF
position. Turn theheadlight switchtothe
position forfull illumination whendriving atnight.
(The daytime runninglightswillturn off.)
If the parking brakeisapplied beforetheengine
is started, thedaytime runninglightsdonot
illuminate. Thedaytime runninglightsilluminate
once theparking brakeisreleased. Thedaytime
running lightswillremain onuntil theignition
switch isplaced inthe OFF position.
WARNING
When thedaytime runninglightsystem
is active, taillights onyour vehicle are
not on.Itis necessary atdusk toturn on
your headlights. Failuretodo socould
cause anaccident injuringyourself and
others.

stuck vehicle, turntheVDC system off.
