Interior features ■
Illuminated entry system
The lights automatically turn on/off according to “ENGINE START STOP” switch
mode, the presence of the electronic key, whether the doors are locked/unlocked,
and whether the doors are open/closed.■
To prevent battery discharge
When the “ENGINE START STOP” switch is turned off, the lights will go off auto-
matically after 20 minutes. ●

Interior features Heated steering wheel

The heated steering wheel can be used when
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in IGNITION ON mode.■
To prevent battery discharge
The heated steering wheel will automatically turn off after about 30 minutes.■
If the indicator light does not come on
If the indicator light does not come on wh en the switch is pressed, a malfunction
may have occurred in the system. Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
CAUTION■

Care should be taken to prevent injury if anyone in the following categories comes
in contact with the steering wheel wh en the heated steering wheel is on:

Babies, small children, the elderly, the sick and the physically challenged

Persons with sensitive skin

remedies, etc.)

Do not cover the seat with anything when using the seat heater.
Using the seat heater with a blanket or cushion increases the temperature of the
seat and may lead to overheating.

Do not put heavy objects that have an unev en surface on the seat and do not stick
sharp objects (needles, nail s, etc.) into the seat.■

Erasing the entire HomeLink

The battery side of the remote control transmitter must be pointed away from
the HomeLink

When programming
Depending on radio wave conditions, the di rection the remote control transmitter is
pointed and the remaining charge of the transmitter's batteries, there are cases
when programming may be difficult.

the zone you are in. If the direction is displayed for several seconds after adjustment, the
calibration is complete.

the vehicle at 5 mph (8 km/h) or

displayed. If there is not enough space to
drive in a circle, drive around the

Conditions unfavorable to correct operation
The compass may not show the correct direction in the following conditions: ●
The vehicle is stopped immediately after turning.●
The vehicle is on an inclined surface.●
The vehicle is in a place where the earth's magnetic field is subject to interfer-
ence by artificial magnetic fields (underground car park/parking lot, under a
steel tower, between buildings, roof car pa rk/parking lot, near an intersection,
near a large vehicle, etc.).●
The vehicle has become magnetized. (There is a magnet or metal object near
the inside rear view mirror.)●
The battery has been disconnected.●
A door is open.
