Remote Touch
■Basic operation
“MENU” button
Press to display the “Menu” screen.
“ • ” button
Press to change the scale of the ma p and to scroll the list screen.
“HOME” button (For 8-inch display)
Press to display the home screen.
Remote Touch knob
Move in the desired direction to select a function, letter and screen button.
Press to enter the selected function, letter or screen button.
“MAP/VOICE” button (For 12.3-inch display)
Press to repeat a voice guidance, cancel the screen scroll, start guidance, and display
the current position.
The Remote Touch can be used to operate the Remote Touch screens.
Refer to the “OWNER’S MANUAL” and “NAVIGATION AND MULTIMEDIA
SYSTEM OWNER’S MANUAL”.

■Setting a route
While route guidance is operating, you can change the route using the following method.
Select “Options”.
Select “Edit Route”.
Select the item to be set.Set route preferences

Press the “MENU” button on the
Remote Touch.
Please refer to page 45 for the
Remote Touch operation.
Select “Setup”.
Select “Navigation”.
Select “Home”.
Select “Set Home Location”.
Select “Address”.
Select “City”.
Enter a city name and select “OK”.
Select the screen button of the desired
city name from the displayed list.
For security reasons, use a point close
to your home instead of your actual
home address.
Enter a street name and select “OK”.
When the desired street name is found,
select the corresponding screen button.
Enter a house number and select “OK”.
Select “OK”.

■Calling by name (vehicles with navigation system)
You can call by giving a name registered in the contacts. For details, refer to the
“NAVIGATION AND MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM OWNER’S MANUAL”.

Say “Call ”.
■Calling by favorites list
Press on the steering wheel.
Select the “Favorites” tab and select
the desired contact.
Select the desired number.
Check that the “Call” screen is dis-
played.
