E-LOCKER SYSTEM

The warning light switches on (on
some versions together with a
dedicated message on the display) as
follows:
– flashing when the system is
activated;
– flashing more rapidly to indicate
that the speed of the vehicle is
approaching 20 km/h;
– constantly if there is a fault with
the system.RIGHT DIRECTION
INDICATOR
(green - intermittent)
The warning light switches on when
the direction indicator control stalk
is moved upwards or, together with
the left indicator, when the hazard
warning light button is pressed.
LEFT DIRECTION
INDICATOR
(green - intermittent)
The warning light switches on when
the direction indicator control stalk
is moved downwards or, together
with the right indicator, when the
hazard warning light button is
pressed.

HEATING
1) Air temperature knob A:
indicator on red section.
2) Fan knob C: indicator on desired

same time, demist the
windscreen;

temperature at the central
diffusers and dashboard vents;

4) Recirculation cursor: to achieve
more rapid heating, move the air
recirculation cursor to vi.e.

Windscreen and side windows
1) Air temperature knob A:

to the far right).

distribution knob at -air also
comes out of the central and side
diffusers. To optimise
demisting/defrosting (also on side
windows) stop the air flow at the
central diffusers (specific control
knob turned down to

p) and
open the side diffusers (specific
control knob turned up to

air drawn in from outside.
After demisting/defrosting, operate
the controls to maintain optimum
visibility conditions.

The ignition key has to be at MAR
for the exterior lights to switch on.
The instrument panel and the

DIRECTION

Up = right indicator.
Down = left indicator.
The
¥or Îwarning light flashes on
the instrument panel.
The direction indicators are
switched off automatically when the
steering wheel is straightened.
If you want the indicator to flash
briefly to show that you are about
to change lane, turning the wheel
only slightly, move the stalk up or
down without clicking into position
(unstable position).
When released the stalk will return
to its initial position.“FOLLOW ME
HOME” DEVICE fig. 62
This device lights up the space in
front of the vehicle for a short time.
Activation
With ignition key at STOP or
removed, pull the stalk towards the
steering wheel and move it within
2 minutes after the engine stops.
Each time the stalk is moved, the
lights stay on for a further 30
seconds up to a maximum of 210
seconds; then the lights are switched
off automatically.
The display shows the time set.Deactivation
Pull the lever towards the steering
wheel for more than 2 seconds or
turn the key to MAR in the ignition
switch.

Do not use the
windscreen wipers to
remove layers of snow
or ice from the windscreen. In
these conditions, the windscreen
wipers may be submitted to
excessive effort resulting in the
motor protection cutting in and
wiper operation being inhibited
for a few seconds. If operation is
not subsequently restored,
contact a Fiat Dealership.

CONTROLS
HAZARD WARNING
LIGHTS fig. 64
They are turned on by pressing
switch A, regardless of the position
of the ignition key.
With the device activated, the
switch flashes and the warning
lights flash on the instrument panel
at the same time.
To switch off, press the switch again.The use of hazard
warning lights is
governed by the highway code
of the country you are in.
Drivers must therefore comply
with the regulations that the
code contains.

Rear fog lights
Switch A: to activate these lights, the
dipped headlights and/or front fog
lights must be switched on. The rear
fog lights are deactivated when the
ignition key is turned to STOP.
If they are required when the vehicle
is next started, they must be
reactivated.
Fog lights
Switch B: to activate these lights, the
external lights must be switched on
(not the main beam headlights). The
front fog lights are deactivated when
the ignition key is turned to STOP.
If they are required when the vehicle
is next started, they must be
reactivated.Driving lights
Switch C. To activate these lights,
the mean beam headlights must be
switched on. The driving lights are
deactivated when the ignition key is
turned to STOP.
If they are required when the vehicle
is next started, they must be
reactivated.

FUEL CUT-OFF
SWITCH fig. 66
This is a safety switch that is tripped
in the event of impact, cutting off the
fuel supply, thereby causing the
engine to stop.

If, after a collision, you
smell fuel or notice
leaks from the fuel system, do
not reset the switch to avoid
the risk of fire.
WARNING
INTERNAL FEATURES
GLOVE COMPARTMENT

To open, pull grip A. On some
versions, when the glove
compartment opens the internal
lighting switches on. Some versions
feature an upper compartment. To
open press button B. If no fuel leaks are detected and the
vehicle can be started again, press
button A to reactivate the fuel
system.
After a collision, remember to turn
the ignition key to STOP to prevent
battery from running down.
Do not travel with the
glove box open: it could
injure the passenger in the
event of an accident.

FRONT ROOF LIGHTS

The roof light is switched on using
the lens, as follows:
pressed to 1: off;
normal position: switches on when a
door is opened;
pressed to 2: always onWith switches

The roof light switches on in 2
different situations according to the
position of switch A:
1: always on (ON) even with doors
closed;
2: switches on when a door is
opened;
3: always off (OFF).
Spot light
Switch B controls the spot light,
depending on the position:
1: spot light on (ON);
2: spot light off (OFF).Roof light timing
On some versions, to facilitate
getting into/out of the vehicle,
especially at night or with poor
lighting, 2 different timing modes are
available.
Entrance timing
The roof lights switch on as follows:
– for a period of 15 seconds when
the front doors are unlocked;
– for a period of 3 minutes when
one of the doors is opened;
