Warning lamps
When the engine is running or the vehicle is being driven, the illumination of one of the
f
ollowing warning lamps indicates a fault which
r
equires action on the part of the driver.Any
fault resulting in the illumination of a warning lamp must be investigated further by r
eading the associated message in the multifunction screen.
If
you encounter any problems, do not hesitate to contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
w
orkshop.

Service indicator zero reset
After each service, the service indicator must be reset to zero.
The
procedure for resetting to zero is as

Retrieving the service
information
You can access the service information at any t
ime.

ress the trip distance recorder zero reset

utton.

he service information is displayed for a
f
ew seconds, then disappears.
Following disconnection of the vehicle battery, replacement of the remote control battery or
i
n the event of a remote control malfunction,
y
ou can no longer unlock, lock or locate your
v
ehicle.

irst of all, use the key in the lock to unlock
o
r lock your vehicle.
F

hen, reinitialise the remote control.
If
the problem persists, contact a CITROËN
d
ealer as soon as possible.
Remote control problem

ress the closed padlock immediately for a

remote control is fully operational again.
Changing the battery
Battery ref.: CR1620 / 3 volts.F U nclip the casing by inserting a coin at the

otch and rotating.

lide the flat battery out of its location.

lide the new battery into its location

bserving the original direction.

lip the casing in place, then the chrome

inisher.

einitialise the remote control.
If the battery is flat, you are
informed
by lighting of this warning

amp in the instrument panel, an audible signal

nd a message in the multifunction screen.

nfold the key.

elease the chrome finisher by pressing on

ug A.

M
aintain pressure on lug A and remove the
c
hrome finisher by sliding it off at 45°.
Alarm
System which protects and provides a deterrent against the theft of your vehicle. It provides two types of protection, exterior and interior, as well as a self-protection f unction.
Exterior perimeter
protection
The system detects opening of the vehicle.
T he alarm is triggered if anyone tries to enter
t
he vehicle by forcing a door, the boot or the
b
onnet.
Interior volumetric
protection
The system detects any variation in the volume in the passenger compartment.
The
alarm is triggered if anyone breaks a
w
indow or moves inside the vehicle.
If you wish to leave a pet in the vehicle or a
window
partially open, deactivate the interior
v
olumetric
pro
tection.
Self-protection function
The system detects the putting out of service of its components.
The
alarm is triggered if anyone tries to put
t
he wires of the siren, the central control or the
battery
out of service.
Do
not make any modifications to the alarm
s
ystem, this could cause malfunctions.
Activation
F Press button A for more than two seconds.

Emergency control
Locking the driver's door

the key in the lock, then turn it to the l
eft.
Unlocking the driver's door
F Insert the key in the lock, then turn it to the r

Locking the passenger's door
F Remove the black cap, on the edge of the d
oor, using the key.

nsert the key in the cavity, then turn it fully.

emove the key and refit the cap.
Unlocking the passenger's door
F Pull the interior door opening control.
In the event of a fault with the central
locking
system,
you
must
disconnect
t
he
battery
to
lock
the
boot
and
so
e
nsure
the
complete
locking
of
the
v
ehicle.

Opening
F After unlocking the vehicle, press the o
pening control and raise the tailgate.
Closing
F Lower the tailgate using the interior grab han
dle.
If
the tailgate is not closed correctly:

warning lamp comes on,

Tailgate release
Unlocking
F Fold back the rear benchseat to gain a
ccess to the lock from inside the boot.
