Welcome
This document describes the special features relating to the presentation and use of your DS3 CABRIO. Refer to the DS3 owner's handbook for all other descriptions and specifications, and also to maintenance and warranty guide for servicing information for your vehicle.
16Practical information
DS3-Cabrio_en_Chap11_info-pratiques_ed02-2014
Recommendations on the care of your vehicle
Remove bird droppings or tree resins as their acidity may damage the roof.
To avoid damaging the roof, never use a high pressure jet wash.
Never use chemical products, detergents, stain removers, solvents,
alcohol, petrol, ... to clean the roof.
The general recommendations on the care of your vehicle are given in the maintenance and warranty guide.
Allow the vehicle to dry in a shaded area and avoid direct exposure to the sun.
We recommend that you wash your vehicle in an automatic roller car wash.
To remove marks, sponge them (but never rub them) using soapy water, then immediately rinse with clean water.
To waterproof the roof, use only special waterproofing products for fabric roofs.
Soft top
Before washing the soft top, first remove as much dirt as possible from the sur face using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.
For the regular maintenance of the soft top and to conserve its original appearance, we recommend an ecological "Fly remover - Soft top roof cleaner" from the "TECHNATURE" range. To obtain this product go to a CITROËN dealer.
Aero-acoustic deflector
We recommend that you clean the aero-acoustic defector with care using a soft brush.
