Operation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has come into operation.Warning / indicator lamp StateCause Action / Observations
Left-hand
direction
indicato r flashing with buzzer.
The lighting stalk is pushed down.
Right-hand
direction
indicator flashing with buzzer.
The lighting stalk is pushed up.
Dipped beam
headlamps fixed.
The lighting stalk is in the "Dipped
beam headlamps" position.
Main beam
headlamps fixed.
The lighting stalk is pulled towards
you. Pull the stalk to return to dipped beam headlamps.
Front foglamps fixed. The front foglamps are switched on
using the ring on the lighting control
stalk. Turn the ring on the lighting control stalk rear ward
twice to switch off the front foglamps.
Rear foglamp fixed. The rear foglamp is switched on
using the ring on the lighting control
stalk. Turn the ring on the lighting control stalk to the rear to
switch off the rear foglamp.

Deactivation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has been switched off intentionally.
This is may be accompanied by an audible signal and a message in the screen.Warning / indicator lamp StateCause Action / Observations
Passenger's
airbag system fixed.
The control, located in the glove box,
is set to the OFF position.
The passenger's front airbag is
deactivated.
You can install a rear ward facing
child seat, unless there is a fault with
the operation of the airbags (Airbag
warning lamp on). Set the control to the ON
position to activate the
passenger's front airbag.
In this case, do not fit a child seat in the rear ward
facing position.
ESP/ASR fixed. The button, located at the bottom
left of the dashboard, is pressed. Its
indicator lamp is on.
The ESP/ASR is deactivated.
ESP: electronic stability programme.
ASR: anti-slip regulation. Press the button to activate the ESP/ASR. Its indicator
lamp goes off.
The ESP/ASR system is activated automatically when
the vehicle is started.
If deactivated, the system is reactivated automatically
from around 30 mph (50 km/h).

Anti-lock
Braking System
(ABS)
fixed.
The anti-lock braking system has a
fault. The vehicle retains conventional braking.
Drive carefully at reduced speed and contact a
CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop without
d e l ay.
Engine fault fixed, orange. The engine has a minor fault. Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop as
soon as possible.
fixed, red. The engine has a major fault causing
a breakdown. You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Park, switch off the ignition and contact a CITROËN
dealer or qualified workshop.

Windows
Electric controls Manual controls
The electric window switches remain
operational for about 45 seconds after
switching off the ignition or until a front
door is opened. During this period of
45 seconds, if you open a door while
operating a window, the window stops.
Operating the switch again has no
effect until the ignition is switched on
again.Always remove the key from the ignition
when leaving the vehicle, even for a
short time.
In the event of contact during operation
of the windows, you must reverse the
movement of the window. To do this,
press the switch concerned.
When operating the passenger electric
window switches, the driver must
ensure that no one is preventing correct
closing of the windows.
The driver must ensure that the
passengers use the electric windows
c o r r e c t l y.
Be particularly aware of children when
operating the windows.

To open or close the window, press or pull the
switch. The window stops as soon as the switch
is released.

For the safety of your children, press switch 5
t o prevent operation of all of the windows,
irrespective of their position.
With the warning lamp on, the switches are
deactivated. With the warning lamp off, the
switches are active.

Rear seats
F Move the corresponding front seat for ward if necessary.

positioned correctly against the backrest
and buckle it. F
S traighten the seat backrest 2 and
secure it.

nbuckle and reposition the seat belt on
the side of the backrest.
When repositioning the seat backrest,
take care not to trap the seat belts.
Ensure that the backrest has latched
properly into place.

Folding the backrest
Depending on version, your vehicle may be fitted with a fixed rear bench seat. For removing and refitting it, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Bench seat with fixed one-piece cushion and split backrest (left hand 2/3, right hand 1/3) which can be folded individually to adapt the load space in the boot.

Mirrors
Each fitted with an adjustable mirror glass
providing the lateral rear ward vision necessary
for overtaking or parking. They can also be
folded for parking in confined spaces.
Door mirrors
The objects observed are, in reality,
closer than they appear.
Take this into account in order to
correctly judge the distance of vehicles
approaching from behind.
Demisting - DefrostingAdjustment

protect it.

Demisting-defrosting of the door
mirrors operates with the engine
running, by switching on the heated
rear screen.

As a safety measure, the mirrors should
be adjusted to reduce the "blind spots".

Comfort

Electronic air conditioning (with display screen)
These systems only operate with the engine running.
1. Air intake / Air recirculation
The recirculation of interior air isolates the
passenger compartment from exterior odours
and smoke.
2. Temperature level adjustment
F Press the "5" (red for hot) and
" 6 " (blue for cold) buttons, to
adjust the temperature to your
requirements.
The temperature bars come on
or go off progressively in the air
conditioning screen.
Return to exterior air intake as soon as possible
to prevent deterioration of the the air quality
and the formation of mist.

ress the button to recirculate the interior
air. The indicator lamp comes on to confirm
this. F

ress the button again to
permit the intake of exterior air.
The

indicator lamp goes off to
confirm this.
