Vehicle Features
Infotainment System
The base radio information is
included in this manual. See the
infotainment manual for information
on the uplevel radios, audio players,
phone, navigation system, and
voice or speech recognition. There
is also information on settings and
downloadable applications (if
equipped).
Radio(s)
O
:Press to turn the system on.
Press and hold to turn it off. When
on, press to mute; press again to
unmute. Turn to increase or
decrease the volume.
RADIO: Press to choose between
FM, AM, and SiriusXM
®,
if equipped.
MEDIA: Press to change the audio
source between CD, USB, SD card,
and AUX.
{: Press to go to the Home Page.
MENU: Press to select a menu.
g:Press to seek the previous
station or track.
l: Press to seek the next station
or track.
See Overview on page 7-3 about
these and other radio features.
Storing Radio Station Presets
Up to 25 preset stations from all
bands can be stored in the favorite
lists in any order. Up to five stations
can be stored in each favorite page
and the number of favorite pages
can be set.
To store the station to a position in
the list, while on the active source
main page, such as AM, FM,
or SiriusXM (if equipped), press and
hold a favorites/soft key button on
the faceplate.

Satellite Radio
Vehicles with a SiriusXM®satellite
radio tuner and a valid SiriusXM
satellite radio subscription can
receive SiriusXM programming.
SiriusXM Satellite Radio
Service
SiriusXM is a satellite radio service
based in the 48 contiguous United
States and 10 Canadian provinces.
SiriusXM satellite radio has a wide
variety of programming and
commercial-free music, coast to
coast, and in digital-quality sound.
A fee is required to receive the
SiriusXM service.

vehicle is low on fuel. The fuel
range estimate is based on an
average of the vehicle's fuel
economy over recent driving history
and the amount of fuel remaining in
the fuel tank.
Average Speed:Displays the
average speed of the vehicle in
kilometers per hour (km/h) or miles
per hour (mph). This average is
calculated based on the various
vehicle speeds recorded since the
last reset of this value. The average
speed can be reset by pressing and
holding
Vwhile this display is
active.
Timer: To start the timer, press
V
while this display is active. The
display will show the amount of time
that has passed since the timer was
last reset. To stop the timer, press
V
briefly while this display is active
and the timer is running. To reset
the timer to zero, press and hold
V
while this display is active. Oil Life:
Displays an estimate of
the oil's remaining useful life.
If REMAINING OIL LIFE 99% is
displayed, that means 99% of the
current oil life remains.
When the remaining oil life is low,
the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON
message will appear on the display.
See Engine Oil Messages on
page 5-31. The oil should be
changed as soon as possible. See
Engine Oil on page 10-8. In addition
to the engine oil life system
monitoring the oil life, additional
maintenance is recommended in the
Maintenance Schedule. See
Maintenance Schedule on
page 11-2.
The Oil Life display must be reset
after each oil change. It will not
reset itself. Do not reset the Oil Life
display accidentally at any time
other than when the oil has just
been changed. It cannot be reset
accurately until the next oil change.
To reset the engine oil life system,
press and hold
Vfor several seconds while the Oil Life display is
active. See
Engine Oil Life System
on page 10-10.
Coolant Temperature: Displays
the coolant temperature in either
degrees Celsius (°C) or degrees
Fahrenheit (°F).
Tire Pressure: Displays the
approximate pressures of all four
tires. Tire pressure is displayed in
either kilopascal (kPa) or in pounds
per square inch (psi). If the pressure
is low, the value for that tire is
shown in amber. See Tire Pressure
Monitor System on page 10-46 and
Tire Pressure Monitor Operation on
page 10-47.
Battery Voltage: Displays the
current battery voltage. The battery
voltage can fluctuate while viewing
this information on the DIC. This is
normal.
Speed Signs: Displays sign
information, which comes from a
roadway database in the onboard
navigation.

available infotainment systems.
Read the following pages to
become familiar with these features.

too long or too often while using
any infotainment feature can
cause a crash. You or others
could be injured or killed. Do not
give extended attention to
infotainment tasks while driving.
Limit your glances at the vehicle
displays and focus your attention
on driving. Use voice commands
whenever possible.

PHONE:Select the PHONE screen
icon to display the Phone main
page. See Bluetooth (Overview) on

NAV: Select the NAV screen icon
to display the last Turn-by-Turn
maneuver if a destination was
downloaded. See Navigation on
page 14-3.
SETTINGS: Select the SETTINGS
screen icon to display the Settings
main page. See “Setting Radio
Preferences” following.
Setting Radio Preferences
Select the SETTINGS screen icon
to display the Settings menu and
the following may display:
Time:SeeClock (Base Radio) on
page 5-5 orClock (Uplevel Radio)
on page 5-6. Language (Language):
This will
set the display language in the radio
and instrument cluster. Select to
display a list of languages. Select
q
BACK to go back to the
previous menu.
Valet Mode:
Type a four-digit code on the
circular numeric keypad:
1. Turn the MENU knob to highlight
a number.
2. Press the MENU knob to select it. Do this for each one of the
four digits. Select Enter to go to
the confirmation screen.
3. Re-enter the four-digit code. Select LOCK to lock the system.
This will also lock out access to
the storage behind the radio,
if equipped. See Instrument
Panel Storage on page 4-1.
4. Type the four-digit code to unlock the system. Select
q
BACK to go back to the
previous menu. Radio:

Display: Press the MENU knob to
turn the display on or off.

Radio Setup
From the RADIO/BAND screen icon,
the following may be displayed:
Manage Favorites:
.Turn the MENU knob and press
to select a favorite.
.To delete a favorite, press
the button just below the
DELETE screen button.
.To move a favorite, press
the MOVE screen button.
Turn the MENU knob to
select a new location, then
press the DROP screen
button to select the new
location.

Navigation
OnStar®System
An OnStar®subscriber has the
ability to connect to the OnStar
system (if equipped) and ask an
OnStar Advisor to download a
destination into the vehicle. OnStar
will send address information and
location coordinates of the
destination into the vehicle.
To access from the Home Page,
turn the MENU knob to highlight the
OnStar icon. Press the MENU knob
to access.
Press the button below the MUTE
screen button to mute the
navigation directions. The previous
audio selection will play. The MUTE
screen button will change to
UNMUTE. Press the button below
UNMUTE to enable the navigation
directions again.
OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation
Press the MENU knob to go to the
Turn-by-Turn menu.
The following options are available:
.Update Route: only shows if the
vehicle is off the route
.Cancel Route
.My Destination
.Route Preview
.Repeat
When the system is downloading a
route, the only option available is
Cancel Route. Once the route is
downloaded, the additional list items
display.
My Destination
If My Destination is selected, a
special version of the Maneuver
View displays. The Destination
Address is shown in the Street
Name field and the total distance to
the destination is shown in the
Distance to Maneuver View. Press
the button below the DONE screen
button to return to the
Maneuver View.

OnStar®
If the vehicle is equipped with
OnStar®and has an active
subscription, additional data may be
collected through the OnStar
system. This includes information
about the vehicle’s operation;
collisions involving the vehicle; the
use of the vehicle and its features;
and, in certain situations, the
location and approximate GPS
speed of the vehicle. Refer to the OnStar Terms and Conditions and
Privacy Statement on the OnStar
website.
Infotainment System
If the vehicle is equipped with a
navigation system as part of the
infotainment system, use of the
system may result in the storage of
destinations, addresses, telephone
numbers, and other trip information.
