FAMILIARISATION
INTERIOR
1. Interior mood lighting
This dimmed lighting of the passenger
compartment facilitates visibility inside the
vehicle when the light is poor.
2. Audio and telematic systems
This equipment benefi ts from the latest technology:
MP3 compatible PEUGEOT Connect Sound (RD5),
PEUGEOT Connect Navigation (RT6) or PEUGEOT
Connect Media Navigation (NG4 3D) with 16/9 retractable
colour screen, JBL audio system, auxiliary sockets.

4. Active spoiler control

This automatic system can be controlled
manually by means of this control on the
centre console.
3. Dual-zone digital air conditioning
This systems allows different levels of comfort
to be set for the driver and front passenger.
It then controls these levels automatically
according to the ambient conditions. PEUGEOT Techno PVC
For maintenance of this trim, do not use
solvent or detergent with a dry cloth.
Remove dust fi rst, then use a soft cloth
and soapy water. Dry using another soft
cloth.

PEUGEOT CONNECT NAVIGATION (RT6))
DISPLAYS IN THE SCREEN
Displays according to context:
- time,
- date,
- altitude,
- ambient temperature (the value displayed fl ashes if there is a risk of ice),
- parking sensor information,
- audio functions,
- telephone and contacts information,
- satellite navigation system information,
- alert messages,
- menus for settings of the screen, navigation system and vehicle equipment. From the navigation system control panel, to select one of the
applications:
 press the dedicated
"RADIO" , "MUSIC" , "NAV" , "TRAFFIC" ,
"PHONE" or "SETUP" button for access to the corresponding
menu,
 turn dial A to select a function, an item in a list,
 press button B to confi rm the selection,
or
 press the "Back" button to abandon the current operation and
return to the previous display.
For more information on these applications, refer to the "Audio
equipment and telematics" section.
CONTROLS
For operation of the retractable screen (opening, closing,
adjustment of the position, etc.), refer to the "Access to the
retractable screen" section.

MONITORING
"SETUP" MENU
 Press the "SETUP" button to gain access to the confi guration
menu:
- "Display confi guration",
- "Voice synthesis",
- "Choice of language",
- "Vehicle parameters",
- "Alert log".
For safety reasons, confi guration of the multifunction screen by
the driver must only be done when stationary.
Display configuration
This menu allows you to choose a colour scheme for the screen, to
adjust the brightness, set the date and time and choose the units for
distance (km or miles), fuel consumption (l/100 km, mpg or km/l) and\

temperature (°Centigrade or °Fahrenheit).
Voice synthesis
This men allows you to adjust the volume for navigation instructions and\

to choose the type of voice (male or female).

Choice of language
This menu allows you to choose the language used by the screen
(French, English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Dutch, Turkish,
Polish, Russian).
Vehicle parameters *
This menu allows you to activate or deactivate certain driving and
comfort equipment, arranged by category:
- Access to the vehicle ● Plip action (selective unlocking of the driver's door; refer to "Access"),
- Parking sensors
- Operation of wipers
● Rear wiper linked to reverse (rear wiper operates in reverse gear; refer to "Visibility"),
- Lighting confi guration (see "Visibility"):
● Duration of the guide-me-home lighting,
● Directional headlamps (main/additional directional lighting),
● Mood lighting (Interior mood lighting),
● Daytime running lamps function ** .
Alert log
It lists the active alerts by displaying their associated messages in tu\
rn.
Setting the date and time
 Press " SETUP ".
 Select "Display confi guration" and confi rm.
 Select "Set date and time" and confi rm.
You can select " Synchronise the minutes with GPS ", so that the
minutes are adjusted automatically by satellite reception.  Select the setting to modify. Conform by pressing "
OK ", then adjust
the setting and modify again.
 Adjust the settings one by one.
 Select " OK " in the screen then confi rm to save the setting.

"SETUP" MENU
Language and speech
This menu allows you to:
- select the language used by the display (Deutsch, English, Espanol, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Portugues,
Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe * ),
- select the voice recognition parameters (activation/deactivation, advice on use, personal voice programming, etc.),
- set the volume of the voice synthesiser.
Date and time
This menu allows you to set the date and time, the format of the date
and the format of the time.
Principle of GPS (GMT) synchronisation:
1. Confi rm the selection "Synchronise with GPS", the time is then aligned with GMT universal time, the date is updated as well.
2. Using the 4-direction navigator, move the cursor onto the hours fi eld and press on OK .
3. Using the rotating ring, you can then adjust the time to the time zone of your choice.
Note that in the case of a summer/winter time change, the time zone must be set again manually.
Units
This menu allows you to select the units: temperature (°C or °F)\
and
distance (miles or km).
System
This menu allows you to restore the factory confi guration, display the
software version and activate scrolling text.
For safety reasons, confi guration of the multifunction screen by
the driver must only be done when stationary.
Display
This menu allows you to set the brightness of the screen, the screen
colour scheme and the colour of the map (day/night or auto mode).

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
DISCONNECTING / RECONNECTING
THE CABLES
To avoid discharging the battery, do not leave the vehicle lighting
on repeatedly with the ignition off (refer to the "Energy economy
mode" paragraph).
It is advisable to disconnect the battery if the vehicle is to be left
unused for more than one month.
Do not disconnect the terminals while the engine is running.
Do not charge the batteries without disconnecting the terminals fi rst.
Before disconnecting the battery
Wait 2 minutes after switching off the ignition before disconnecting
the battery.
Retract the active spoiler then close the windows and the doors
before disconnecting the battery.
Following reconnection of the battery
Following reconnection of the battery, switch on the ignition
and wait 1 minute before starting to permit initialisation of the
electronic systems. However, if slight problems remain following
this operation, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifi ed
workshop.
Referring to the corresponding section, you must yourself
reinitialise:
- the remote control key,
- the electric windows and the automatic partial opening of the door windows,
- the GPS satellite navigation system.
 Raise the locking tab
D fully.
 Position the open clip E of the cable on the positive terminal (+)
of the battery.
 Press vertically on the clip E to position it correctly against the
battery.
 Lock the clip by lowering the tab D .
CHARGING THE BATTERY USING A BATTERY
CHARGER
 Disconnect the battery from the vehicle.
 Follow the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer of
the charger.
 Reconnect starting with the negative terminal (-).
 Check that the terminals and connectors are clean. If they are covered with sulphate (whitish or greenish deposit), remove them
and clean them.
Do not force the tab as locking will not be possible if the clip is not \
positioned correctly.
Start the procedure again. Some functions are not available if the battery is not suffi ciently
charged.

GENERAL OPERATION
For a detailed global view of the menus available, refer to the "Screen menu map" section of this handbook.
Press the MODE button several times in succession to gain access to the \
following displays:
Long press: access to the GPS coverage and to the demonstration mode.
For maintenance of the screen, the use of a soft, non-abrasive cloth (spectacles cloth) is recommended, without any additional product.
