BRAKE FLUID LEVEL
The brake fl uid level should be close to the "MAX" mark. If it is
not, check the brake pad wear.
Changing the fluid
Refer to the warranty and maintenance record for details of the interval\

for this operation.
Fluid specification
The brake fl uid must conform to the manufacturer's recommendations.
POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL
The power steering fl uid level should be close to the "MAX"
mark. With the engine cold, unscrew the cap to check the level.
Topping up the engine oil level
Oil grade
The oil must be the correct grade for your engine and conform to the
manufacturer's recommendations.
Refer to the "Petrol engine" or "Diesel engine" section to identify the \
location of the oil fi ller cap in the engine compartment of your vehicle.
- Unscrew the oil fi ller cap to reveal the fi ller aperture.
- Add oil in small quantities, avoiding any spills on engine components (risk of fi re).
- Wait a few minutes before checking the level again using the dipstick.
- Add more oil if necessary.
- After checking the level, carefully refi t the oil fi ller cap and the dipstick in its tube.
After topping up the oil, the check when switching on the ignition with \
the oil level indicator in the instrument panel is not valid during the \
30 minutes after topping up.
Engine oil change
Refer to the warranty and maintenance record for details of the interval\

for this operation.
In order to maintain the reliability of the engine and emission control \
system, the use of additives in the engine oil is prohibited.

DESCRIPTION OF THE KIT
A. "Sealant" or "Air" position selector.
B. On "I" / off "O" switch.

I. Speed limit sticker.
The speed limit sticker I must be affi xed to the vehicle's steering
wheel to remind you that a wheel is in temporary use.
Do not exceed a speed of 50 mph (80 km/h) when driving with a
tyre repaired using this type of kit.
The vehicle's electric system allows the connection of a
compressor for long enough to infl ate a tyre after a puncture repair
or for infl ating a small infl atable accessory.

DASHBOARD FUSES
The fusebox is placed in the lower part of the dashboard (left hand sid\
e,
inside the glove box). It consists of two boxes.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT FUSES
The fusebox is placed in the engine compartment near the battery (left-\
hand side).
Access to the fuses
 Unclip the cover.
 Change the fuse (see corresponding paragraph).
 When you have fi nished, close the cover carefully to assure the sealing of the fusebox.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
TOWING A VEHICLE
TOWING EYE
This is stored in the boot under the fl oor.
For access to it:
 open the boot,
 raise the fl oor using the strap,
 secure it in the vertical position beyond the stops, located on the sides of the boot,
 remove the towing eye from the storage box.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Observe the legislation in force in your country.
Ensure that the weight of the towing vehicle is higher than that of
the towed vehicle.
The driver must remain at the wheel of the towed vehicle and
must have a valid driving licence.
When towing a vehicle with all four wheels on the ground, always
use an approved towing bar; rope and straps are prohibited.
The towing vehicle must move off gently.
When towing a vehicle with the engine off, there is no longer any
power assistance for braking or steering.
In the following cases, you must always call on a professional
recovery service:
- vehicle broken down on a motorway or fast road,
- four-wheel drive vehicle,
- when it is not possible to put the gearbox into neutral, unlock the steering, or release the parking brake,
- towing with only two wheels on the ground,
- where there is no approved towing bar available...

TOWING YOUR VEHICLE
Towing from the front
 On the front bumper, unclip the cover by pressing on the left.
 Screw the towing eye in fully.
 Install the towing bar.  Place the gear lever in neutral (position N for an automatic
gearbox).
Failure to observe this instruction could result in damage to certain components (braking, transmission...) and the
absence of braking assistance the next time the engine is
started.
 Unlock the steering by turning the ignition key one notch and release the parking brake.
 Switch on the hazard warning lamps on both vehicles.
 Move off gently and drive slowly and for a short distance only.
Towing from the rear
It is also possible to pull your vehicle from the rear, but only in
exceptional circumstances (vehicle in a parking space, off the road...).
 On the rear bumper, unclip the cover by pressing on the left.
 Screw the towing eye in fully.
 Install the towing bar.
 Place the gear lever in neutral (position N for an automatic
gearbox).
 Switch on the hazard warning lamps on both vehicles.
 Move off very gently to pull the vehicle out.

TOWING ANOTHER VEHICLE *
 On the rear bumper, unclip the cover by pressing on the left.
 Screw the towing eye in fully.
 Install the towing bar.
 Switch on the hazard warning lamps on both vehicles.
 Move off gently and drive slowly and for a short distance only.

For safety reasons, the driver must only carry out operations which require prolonged attention while the vehicle is stationary.
When the engine is switched off and to prevent discharging of the battery, the system switches off following the activation of the energy economy mode.
