FAMILIARISATION
Remote control key
A. Unfolding / Folding the key
(fi rst press this button).
Normal locking
(press once; fi xed lighting of
the direction indicators).
Fuel tank
1. Opening the fuel fi ller fl ap.
2. Opening and hooking the fuel fi ller cap.
Capacity of the tank: approximately
60 litres.
Unlocking and partial opening
of the boot
(press for more than two sec-
onds).
When the light is poor, detected by a
sensor, the remote switching on of the
dipped beam headlamps, sidelamps
and side spotlamps makes your ap-
proach to the vehicle easier.
In the same way, the passenger com-
partment lighting, such as the courtesy
lamps, the door sill lamps and the foot-
well lamps, comes on.

Deadlocking of the vehicle
(press twice in succession;
fi xed lighting of the direction
indicators).
ACCESS
Complete or selective unlock-
ing of the vehicle
(rapid fl ashing of the direction
indicators).
Locking the vehicle using the remote
control or the key also locks the glove
box and the front armrest.

MONITORING

A. With the ignition on, the needle should
indicate the level of fuel remaining.
B. With the engine running, its associ- ated low level warning lamp should
go off.
C. With the ignition on, the oil level indi- cator * should display for a few sec-
onds that this level is correct.
If the levels are not correct, top up the
l evels which are low. Illumination of the indicator lamp indicates
the status of the corresponding function.
A. Emergency call in progress.
1. With the ignition on, the orange and
red warning lamps come on.
2. With the engine running, these warning lamps should go off.
If warning lamps remain on, refer to the
table concerned.

B. Deactivation of the alarm interior volumetric monitoring.
C. Central locking.

MONITORING
Low fuel level fi xed with the
needle in the red zone,
accompanied
by an audible signal and a message. When it fi rst comes on there
remains approximately
6 litres of fuel in the tank.
At this point, you begin to
use the fuel reserve. Refuel as soon as possible to avoid running out
of fuel.
Until suffi cient fuel has been added, this warning
lamp will come on every time the ignition is
switched on, accompanied by an audible signal
and a message.
This audible signal and message are repeated
with increasing frequency as the fuel level drops
towards
"0" .
Fuel tank capacity: approximately 60 litres .
Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel,
as this could damage the emission control and
injection systems.

Anti-lock
Braking System (ABS) fi xed.
The anti-lock braking
system has a fault. The vehicle retains conventional braking.
Drive carefully at reduced speed and contact
a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifi ed workshop
without delay.
Dynamic
stability control
(DSC/ASR) fl ashing.
The DSC/ASR regulation is
operating. The system optimises traction and improves the
directional stability of the vehicle in the event of
loss of grip or trajectory.
fi xed. The DSC/ASR system has
a fault. Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualifi ed workshop.
Under-
infl ation fi xed.
The pressure in one or
more wheels is too low. Check the pressure of the tyres as soon as possible.
This check should preferably be carried out when
the tyres are cold.
+ fl ashing
then fi xed,
accompanied
by the Service warning lamp. The tyre pressure
monitoring system has
a fault or no sensor is
detected on one of the
wheels.
Under-infl ation detection is not assured.
Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer

Main menu "Audio functions" menu
Press the "MENU" button for access
to the main menu :
- audio functions,
- diagnosis vehicle,
- personalisation-confi guration,
- telephone (hands-free kit).
Press the " " or " " buttons to se-
lect the menu required, then confi rm
by pressing the "OK" button.
With the PEUGEOT Connect Sound
switched on, once this menu has been
selected you can activate or deactivate
the functions linked with use of the ra-
dio (RDS, REG, RadioText) or the CD
(introscan, shuffl e, CD repeat).
For more information on the "Audio
functions" application, refer to the
PEUGEOT Connect Sound section.
MONOCHROME SCREEN C (WITH PEUGEOT CONNECT SOUND (RD5))
Displays in the screen
Depending on the context, this displays:
- time,
- date,
- ambient temperature with air condi- tioning (the value displayed fl ashes
if there is a risk of ice),
- visual parking sensor information,
- audio functions (radio, CD...),
- telephone information and directo- ries,
- alert messages,
- settings menus for the screen and vehicle equipment.
Controls
From the control panel of your PEUGEOT
Connect Sound, you can:
press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the main menu ,
press the " " or " " buttons to
scroll through the items on the
screen,
press the "MODE" button to change
the permanent application (audio
source...),
press the " " or " " buttons to
change a setting value,
press the "OK" button to confi rm,
or
press the "Back" button to abandon
the operation in progress.

Press the " " or " " buttons, then
the "OK" button to select the menu
required.
Press the " " or " " buttons,
then the "OK" button to select the
"Guide-me-home headlamps" line. "Diagnosis vehicle"
menu
Press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the main menu.
Press the arrows, then the "OK"
button to select the " Diagnosis vehi-cle " menu. On the "
Diagnosis vehicle " menu,
select the following application:
Alert log
This summarises the active warning
messages, displaying them in succes-
sion in the multifunction screen. Once this menu has been selected, you
can consult the alert log.
Defi ne the vehicle parameters
Once this menu has been selected, you
can activate or deactivate the following
equipment:
- selective unlocking (refer to "Access"),
- "guide-me-home" lighting (refer to
"Visibility"),
- interior mood lighting (refer to "Vis- ibility"),
- daytime running lamps (refer to "Visibility"),
- rear parking sensors (refer to "Driv- ing").
"Personalisation-
Configuration" menu
Once this menu has been selected, you
have access to the following functions:
- defi ne the vehicle parameters,
- display confi guration,
- choice of language.
"Telephone" menu
With the PEUGEOT Connect Sound
switched on, once this menu has
been selected you can confi gure your
Bluetooth hands-free kit (pairing), con-
sult the various telephone directories
(calls log, services...) and manage your
communications (pick up, hang up, call
waiting, secret mode...).

MULTIFUNCTION SCREENS
"SETUP" menu
Press the "SETUP" button to gain
access to the confi guration menu:
- "Display confi guration",
- "Voice synthesiser",
- "Choice of language",
- "Vehicle settings",
- "Alert log".
For safety reasons, confi guration
of the multifunction screen by the
driver must be done only when sta-
tionary.
Displays in the screen
Depending on the context, it displays:
- time,
- date,
- altitude,
- ambient temperature (the value dis- played fl ashes if there is a risk of
ice),
- the sequences of opening and clos- ing the roof,
- visual parking sensor information,
- audio functions,
- telephone information and direc- tories,
- satellite navigation system infor- mation,
- settings menus for the screen, navi- gation system and vehicle equip-
ment.
RETRACTABLE COLOUR SCREEN (WITH PEUGEOT CONNECT NAVIGATION (RT6)) Controls
From the navigation system control
panel, to select one of the applications:
press the dedicated "RADIO" ,
"MUSIC" , "NAV" , "TRAFFIC" ,
"PHONE" or "SETUP" button to
gain access to the corresponding
menu,
turn the knob A to select a function,
an item in a list,
press button B to confi rm the selec-
tion,
or
press the "Back" button to abandon
the current operation and return to
the previous display. For operation of the retractable
screen (opening, closing, adjust-
ment of the position, etc.), refer to
the section "Access to the retract-
able screen".
