GENERAL POINTS RELATING TO CHILD SEATS
Although one of PEUGEOT main cri-
teria when designing your vehicle, the
safety of your children also depends on
you.
For maximum safety, please observe
the following recommendations:
- in accordance with European regu-lations, all children under the age
of 12 or less than one and a half
metres tall must travel in ap-
proved child seats suited to their
weight , on seats fi tted with a seat
belt or ISOFIX mountings * ,
- statistically, the safest seats in your vehicle for carrying children
are the rear seats,
- a child weighing less than 9 kg must travel in the "rearward fac-
ing" position both in the front and
in the rear.
* The rules for carrying children are specifi c to each country. Refer to the
legislation in force in your country.
CHILD SEAT IN THE FRONT *
"Forward-facing"
"Rearward-facing"
When a "rearward-facing" child seat is
installed on the front passenger seat ,
adjust the seat to the intermediate lon-
gitudinal and highest position, with the
backrest straightened.
The passenger airbag must be deacti-
vated. Otherwise, the child would risk
being seriously injured or killed if the
airbag were to infl ate . When a "forward-facing" child seat is
installed on the
front passenger seat ,
adjust the vehicle's seat to the interme-
diate longitudinal and highest position
with seat backrest straightened and
leave the passenger's airbag activated.
* Refer to the current legislation in your country before installing a child seat
on this seat.
Ensure that the seat belt is correct-
ly tensioned.
For child seats with a support leg,
ensure that the support leg is in
stable contact with the fl oor. If nec-
essary, adjust the passenger seat. Passenger seat adjusted to the inter-
mediate longitudinal position.

CHILD SEATS RECOMMENDED BY PEUGEOT
PEUGEOT offers a complete range of recommended child seats which are se-
cured using a three point seat belt .
Group 0+: from birth to 13 kg Groups 1, 2 and 3: from 9 to 36 kg
L1
"RÖMER Baby-Safe Plus"
Installed in the rearward facing position. L2
"KIDDY Comfort Pro"
The impact shield must be used for carrying young children
(from 9 to 18 kg).
Groups 2 and 3: from 15 to 36 kg
L4
"KLIPPAN Optima"
From approxmately 6 years (from 22 kg), the booster is used on its own.
L5
"RÖMER KIDFIX"
Can be fi tted to the vehicle's ISOFIX mountings. The child is restrained by the seat belt.

"ISOFIX" MOUNTINGS
Your vehicle has been approved to the
latest ISOFIX regulations .
The seats represented below are fi tted
with these regulation ISOFIX mountings:
These are two rings A for each seat, lo-
cated between the seat back and seat
cushion of the vehicle's seat, indicated
by a label.
The incorrect installation of a child
seat in a vehicle compromises the
protection of the child in the event
of a collision. Observe in full the fi tting instruc-
tions in the installation handbook
provided with the child seat.
For installing ISOFIX child seats
in your vehicle, refer to the table
showing the locations for fi tting
ISOFIX child seats.
These rings are located behind covers.
For access to them:
 insert the ignition key in the cut-out
in the cover,
 pull it forwards to unclip it and then fold it down.
This ISOFIX mounting system provides
reliable, safe and fast fi tting of the child
seat in your vehicle.
The ISOFIX child seats are fi tted with
two latches which are secured easily on
these rings A .

This child seat can also be used on seats which are not fi tted with ISOFIX mountings.
In this case, it is essential that it is secured to the vehicle's seat b\
y means of the seat belt.
Adjust the vehicle's front seat so that the child's feet do not touch th\
e seat back.
Follow the instructions for fi tting the child seat indicated in the seat manufacturer's installation guide. "RÖMER Duo Plus ISOFIX"
(size category B1 )

Installed in the "forward facing" position only.
Attached to the rings A without the upper strap.

LOCATIONS FOR FITTING ISOFIX CHILD SEATS
In accordance with European Regulations, this table indicates the option\
s for installing ISOFIX child seats on seats in the
vehicle fi tted with ISOFIX mountings.
In the case of universal and semi-universal ISOFIX child seats, the ISOF\
IX size category, determined by a letter from A to G ,
is indicated on the child seat next to the ISOFIX logo.
IL-SU: seat suitable for the installation of an I sofi x S emi- U niversal seat either:
- "rearward facing" fi tted with a support leg,
- "forward facing" fi tted with a support leg.
IL1: seat adapted for the installation of a "RÖMER Duo Plus ISOFIX" child seat, approved specifi cally for your vehicle. In this vehicle, the ISOFIX child seat is used without a top tether.
X: seat which is not suitable for the installation of an ISOFIX seat of th\
e size category indicated.
