til this message is displayed can be set.
Refer to “Changing the function settings (With

page 5-126. The display and buzzer alert the driver when the set time is reached. If you continue to drive without having a rest, the buzzer sounds
about every 5 minutes to encourage you to
take a rest.  In the following cases, the time driven is re
set and the display returns to the previous
display screen. After this, when the set time
is reached again, the display and buzzer
encourage you to take a rest. • The buzzer sounds 3 times.• The ignition switch is turned to the “OFF” position. • The multi-information meter switch is

If the driver’s door is opened with the key in the “LOCK” or “ACC” position or removed
from the ignition switch while the lights are on, the buzzer will sound to remind you to turn off the lights. If the driver’s door is opened with the ignition switch in the “LOCK” or “ACC” position, or if the ignition switch is moved to the “LOCK” position while the lights are on, thebuzzer will sound to remind you to turn offthe lights. In either case, the lights and buzzer will turn off automatically. Or you can turn the combination headlightsand dimmer switch to the “OFF” position to stop the buzzer.

To change the headlights from high beam to low beam and vice versa, pull the turn signallever to fully toward you (1). Switch the headlights to low beam as a courtesy when- ever there are oncoming vehicles, or whenthere is traffic moving ahead of you. An illu- minated blue light in the instrument cluster
indicates when the headlights are on high beam.

You can flash the high beams by pulling thelever gently toward you (2). The lights will go back to normal when you let go. While the high beam is on, you will see a blue light onthe instrument panel.

3. Within 60 seconds of turning the ignition switch to the “LOCK” position, pull the turn signal lever toward you. 4. The headlights will come on in the low beam setting for about 30 seconds. Afterthe headlights go off, the headlights can be turned on again in the low beam setting for about 30 seconds by pulling the turnsignal lever toward you within 60 secondsof turning the ignition switch to the “LOCK” position. To turn on the head- lights again after 60 seconds of turningthe ignition switch to the “LOCK” posi- tion, repeat the process from step 1.

return to the neutral position when the turn is complete. There may be times when the lever does not return to the neutral position. This usually happens when the steering wheel isturned only slightly. You can easily return the lever by hand. Also, when you move the lever to (1) slightlythen release it, the turn signal lights and indi- cator light in the instrument cluster will flash three times.

If you press the flasher switch, the front andrear turn signals will flash intermittently, and so will the hazard warning lights. Replace your tires before they are heavily worn out. As your vehicle is equipped with a tire pres- sure monitoring system, there is a risk ofdamage to the tire inflation pressure sensors when the tire is replaced on the rim. Tire replacement should, therefore, be performedonly by an authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer. Have someone watch while you turn all the exterior lights on and off. Also check the turn signal indicators and high-beam indicators on the instrument panel. Check the ground under the vehicle after parking overnight, for fuel, water, oil, orother leaks. Make sure all the fluid levels are correct. Also, if you can smell fuel, you need to find out why immediately and have itfixed.

Also, the battery power level may drop because more power is used for cold starting anddriving. This explains how to listen to AM and FM radio broadcasts. Press the RADIO key to switch the band. Switch between AM and FM bands. The selected band is indicated on the display. *: When a satellite tuner is connected Turn the /SEL key to the frequency to lis- ten to.
Collective search for stations that can be received. Press the SCAN key.When a station is received, this is played for 5 seconds, then the product searches for the next station.
Register the broadcast station in advance, and select this at a later time. 1. Tune in to the frequency to register. 2. Hold down any of the keys from the 1RPT key to the 6 key. A “Beep” sounds, and the preset key is registered.
During RBDS broadcast reception, select PTY (program content), and automatically scan for stations. 1. During FM reception, press the PTY key. This switches to the PTY selection mode. 2. Press the PTY key to select PTY.
