Your tire pressure monitoring system oper- ates on a radio frequency subject to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Rules(For vehicles sold in U.S.A.) and Industry Canada Rules (For vehicles sold in Canada). This device complies
with Part 15 of FCC
Rules and Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two con-ditions. This device may not cause harmful inter- ference. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
N00519000317 N00519100220
The speedometer shows the vehicle speed in miles per hour (mph) or kilometers per hour (km/h).
N00519200205
The tachometer shows engine revolutions perminute. This allows the driver to determinethe most efficient shift position (manual transaxle) or (Twin Clutch SST) and engine speed combinations.
CAUTION The use of non-genuine wheels will prevent the proper fit of the tire inflation pressure sensors, resulting in air leakage or damage to the sensors.
General information
CAUTION Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer for compli- ance could void the user’s authority to oper- ate the equipment.

Each time you press this button, there is a sound and the brightness of the instruments changes.
CAUTION The red zone indicates an engine speed beyond the range of safe operation. Select the correct shift position (manual transaxle) or (Twin Clutch SST) to control the engine speed so that the tachometer indi- cator does not enter the red zone
Rheostat meter illumination button
NOTE
You can adjust to 8 different levels respec- tively for when the front side-marker and parking lights are illuminated and when they are not. If the vehicle is equipped with the automatic light control, when the light switch is in a position other than the “OFF” position, themeter illumination switches automatically to the adjusted brightness, depending on the brightness outside the vehicle. The brightness level of the instruments is stored when the ignition switch is turned off. If you press and hold the button for longer than about 1 second when the front side-marker and parking lights are illuminated, the brightness level changes to the maximum level. Pressing and holding the button forlonger than about 1 second again returns the brightness level to the previous level.1- Brightness display

N00520600296
This light comes on in the event of a malfunc- tion in the charging system or when the igni- tion switch is turned to the “ON” position (engine off). A warning is also displayed inthe multi-information display. When the engine is started,
the light should go out.
Check to make sure that the light has goneout before driving.
N00558300012 N00558400114
This warning is displayed if the vehicle is being driven with the parking brake stillapplied. The warning light in the instrument cluster only comes on when the parking brake is applied.
CAUTION Driving for a long time with the engine mal- function indicator on may cause more dam- age to the emission control system. This could also affect fuel economy and drivabil- ity. If this indicator does not come on when the ignition switch is turned to the “ON” posi-tion, have the system checked at an autho- rized Mitsubishi Motors dealer or a repair facility of your choice. If the engine malfunction indicator comes on while the engine is running, avoid driving athigh speeds. During vehicle operation with the indicator on, the vehicle may not accelerate when youdepress the accelerator pedal. When the vehicle is stationary with the indi- cator on, you must depress the brake pedalmore firmly than usual since the engine idling speed is higher than usual and a vehi- cle with Twin Clutch SST has a stronger ten-dency to creep forward.
NOTE
Do not disconnect the battery cable when the engine malfunction indicator (“SERVICE ENGINE SOON” or “Check engine light”) is on. The engine electronic control module storescritical OBD information (especially exhaust emission data), which may be lost if the bat- tery cable is disconnected while the enginemalfunction indicator is on. This will make it difficult to diagnose the cause of future prob- lems.
Charging system warning light
CAUTION If the warning light stays on while the engine is running, park your vehicle in a safe place as soon as possible and contact an authorizedMitsubishi Motors dealer or a repair facility of your choice to have the system checked.
Information screen display Brake warning display
CAUTION If a vehicle is driven without releasing the parking brake, the brakes will overheat, resulting in ineffective braking and possible brake failure. If this warning is displayed, release the park-ing brake.

When the ignition switch is turned to the “ON” position, if the brake fluid is low, this warning is displayed. The warning light in the instrument clusteralso illuminates.
N00558600086
If there is a fault in the charging system, thewarning display is displayed on the informa- tion screen in the multi-information display. The warning light in the instrument clusteralso illuminates.
N00558700074
If the engine oil pressure drops while theengine is running, the warning display is dis-played on the information screen in the multi-information display.
CAUTION If this warning stays on and does not go out while driving, there is a danger of ineffective braking. If this happens, park the vehicle in asafe place, and contact an authorized Mit- subishi Motors dealer or a repair facility of your choice.NOTE
Under conditions such as sporty driving, the brake fluid in the tank may move and the warning display may appear temporarily. If the warning display goes out after a while, there is not a problem with the brake system and the vehicle can be driven normally.
CAUTION If the brake warning display, brake warning light, and the Anti-lock braking system warning light are illuminated at the same time, the braking force distribution function will not operate, so the vehicle may be desta-bilized during sudden braking. Avoid sudden braking and high-speed driving. Park the vehicle in a safe place, and contact an autho-rized Mitsubishi Motors dealer or a repair facility of your choice. The vehicle should be brought to a halt in the following manner when brake performance is deteriorated.• Confirm that the vehicle slows down whenyou press down on the brake pedal harderthan usual. In some cases, the brake pedal may go all the way to the floor.• Should the brakes fail, use engine brakingto reduce your speed and slowly apply the parking brake.Depress the brake pedal to illuminate the stop lights to alert the vehicles behind you.

CAUTION If warnings are displayed while the engine is running, park your vehicle in a safe place as soon as possible and contact an authorizedMitsubishi Motors dealer or a repair facility of your choice to have the system checked.
Oil pressure warning display
CAUTION If the vehicle is driven while the engine oil is low, or the oil level is normal but the warn- ing is displayed, the engine may overheat and damage may result.

Combination headlights and dimmer switch 5-128 Features and controls
5
If the combination headlights and dimmer switch is turned to the “ ” or “ ” posi- tion again after the engine is turned off, the about 3-minute auto-cutout functiondescribed above will not work. The lights (theparking lights, tail lights and license plate lights) will stay on and will not turn off auto- matically.
N00549800183
[When using a key to start the engine] If the driver’s door is opened with the key in the “LOCK” or “ACC” position or removedfrom the ignition switch while the lights are on, the tone will sound to remind you to turn off the lights. [When using the F.A.S.T.-key to start the engine] If the driver’s door is opened with the ignition switch in the “LOCK” or “ACC” position, orif the ignition switch is moved to the “LOCK” position while the lights are on, the tone will sound to remind you to turn off thelights.
In either case, the lights will turn off automat- ically and so will the tone. Or you can turn the light switch to the “OFF” position to stop the tone.
N00549900142
To change the headlights from high beam tolow beam and vice versa, pull the turn signallever to (1). Switch the headlights to low beam as a courtesy whenever there are oncoming vehicles, or when there is trafficmoving ahead of you. An illuminated blue light in the instrument cluster indicates when the headlights are on high beam.
NOTE
The light auto-cutout function can be deacti- vated. See your authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer for details.
When you want to keep the lights on:
NOTE
When the engine is started using the key, if the driver’s door is opened and the key is removed, the headlight reminder buzzerintermittently emits a high-pitched sound. If the key is still in the ignition switch the key reminder buzzer intermittently emits a low-pitched sound. The buzzer stops when the driver’s door is closed. (A warning is also displayed in themulti-information display.)
When the engine is started using the F.A.S.T.-key, if the driver’s door is opened and the ignition switch is in the “LOCK” position, the headlight reminder buzzer inter- mittently emits a high-pitched sound. If theignition switch is in any position other than “LOCK”, the ignition switch on reminder buzzer intermittently emits a low-pitchedsound. The buzzer stops when the driver’s door is closed. (A warning is also displayed in themulti-information display.)

N00522601558
When changing lanes, or to making a gradual turn, hold the lever in
the “lane change” posi-
tion (1). It will return to the neutral position when you let go. Use the full position (2) when making a normal turn. The lever willreturn to the neutral position when the turn is complete. There may be times when the lever does not return to the neutral position. Thisusually happens when the steering wheel isturned only slightly. You can easily return the lever by hand. Also, when you move the lever to (1) slightlythen release it, the turn signal lights and the indicator light in the instrument cluster will flash three times.
N00522700288
If you press the flasher switch, the front andrear turn signals will flash intermittently, and so will the hazard warning lights. This is an emergency warning system and should not beused when the vehicle is in motion, except for emergencies.
If you need to leave your vehicle, the flashers will keep working after the ignition switch is turned off.
N00522800351
The front fog lights illuminate only when the headlights are on low beam. Turning the knob in the direction of the “ON” position turns on the front fog lights as wellas the indicator in the instrument cluster. To turn them off, turn the knob in the direction of the “OFF” position.
Turn signal lever
NOTE
A light in the instrument panel flashes to show when the front and rear turn signal lights are working properly. If this light flashes faster than usual, check for a burned out turn signal light bulb or mal-functioning connection in the signal. If the panel light does not come on when the lever is moved, check for a blown fuse or aburned out bulb in the panel. Have the system inspected by your autho- rized Mitsubishi Motors dealer or a repairfacility of your choice. It is possible to modify functions as follows: • Deactivate the turn signal light 3-flash function for lane changes. • Adjust the time required to operate the lever for the 3-flash function. For further information, please contact your authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer.
