Main Unit Panel
This gives the names of each section of the main unit panel and explains their functions.

Used to eject a disc

2) Display Almost all operations can be performed by
touching the touch switches displayed on

3) Disc slot
When a disc is inserted that can be played
by this product, starts playback.

4) MENU key
Displays the top menu.
Used to select an audio source.

5) PWR/VOL key
Allows you to adjust the volume for the
audio function and telephone function.
It also allows you to switch the audio
function ON/OFF.

Start
Start the system.
1Switch the vehicle's ignition
key to “ACC” or “ON”.

in its previous session.
ADVICE
• Immediately after the ignition key is
switched to “ACC” or “ON”, some
functions cannot be used immediately
because data is being read. Please wait
until the reading is completed.

Listen to Audio Files
on a USB Device
By connecting commercially-available
USB devices such as USB memory to this
product, you can play back audio files on
these through the product.
CAUTION
• Never hold an USB device in your hand
and operate it while driving, as this is
dangerous.
• Do not leave the USB device unattended in the vehicle.
• Do not use hard discs, card readers, or memory readers, as damage may occur
to these or to the data contained therein.
If these are erroneously connected,
then turn the engine ignition “OFF”, then
remove.
• No guarantee is made as regards damage to the USB device, nor regarding
loss or damage to data contained therein.
• Depending on how devices are handled, audio files can be damaged or lost,
therefore it is recommended that data be
backed up.

USB devices that can be connected and
USB input ports.

devices.
• Depending on the type of USB device, usage may not be possible, or functions
that can be used may be restricted.
• The recommended file system for USB memory is FAT32.
• The maximum supported capacity for USB memory is 32GB.
• Operate the USB device containing recorded audio files while connected to
this product.
• When connecting a USB device, use any commercially-available connection cable.
Failure to use a connection cable when
connecting may place undue load on, or
damage the USB connector.
• Set up the device in order that no unsafe actions, such as plugging in the
connection cable are taken while driving.
• When inserting and removing the USB device, for safety's sake first stop the
vehicle.
• Do not insert non-audio devices into the USB port. Damage to the device or
equipment may result.
• Depending on the status of the USB device, it may take some time until the
device is recognized, or playback starts.
NOTE
• Depending on USB devices, buttons on the product will not operate while the
USB device is connected.
• Data containing copyright information may not play back.
• USB device specifications and settings may mean that connection is not
possible, or result in differences in
operation or display.
• Depending on audio data in the USB device, track information may not be
displayed correctly.
• Depending on the status of the vehicle and device, the iPod/iPhone may not play
back after starting the engine.
1Press the MENU key.
The top menu is displayed.

The playback information screen is
displayed.

Answering an Incoming Call
1Press the “OFF HOOK” key on
the steering wheel.

ADVICE
• You can also talk with the calling party by touching [Call].
Ending a Telephone Call
1Press the “ON HOOK” key on
the steering wheel.

This ends the incoming call.
ADVICE
• You can also end a call by touching [End].
Setting Passcode
You can lock the telephone function with a
passcode to prevent any third party from using
the telephone function without your approval.
1On the mobile phone screen,
touch
▲ then Lock .
2Enter a four-digit “passcode”,
then touch
Enter .
▼
The passcode setting is complete.
CAUTION
• Do not forget this passcode. You will
need to enter it the next time you use the
telephone function.
ADVICE
• This takes effect after the next startup.
• After turning the ignition switch to LOCK/ OFF, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn
the ignition switch to ACC or ON. If you
turn the ignition switch to ACC or ON too
quickly, the new setting may not be set
properly.
• If you have set a passcode, after turning the ignition switch ON, check that the
passcode is set correctly.
• If you forget your passcode, consult an authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer.
Unlocking the Lock
Use the passcode to unlock the lock. The next
time you use the telephone function, it is no
longer necessary to enter a passcode.
1Press the MENU key or touch
Phone .
2Enter the set a “passcode”,
then touch
Enter .
3Touch ▲ , and then Unlock .

The unlocking of the passcode lock is
complete.
