Replacing light bulbs■ Headlight high beams and daytime ru nning lights (vehicles with halo-
gen headlights)
Release the lock and remove the
cover.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
Unplug the connector while
depressing the lock release.

IS250C/350C_UReplace the light bulb, and install
the bulb base.
Align the 3 tabs on the light bulb
with the mounting, and insert.
Turn and secure the bulb base.
Shake the bulb base gently to
check that it is not loose, turn the
headlight high beams and daytime
running lights on once and visually
confirm that no light is leaking
through the mounting.
When installing the cover install by conducting with the
directions reversed.

Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.

ing the lock release.

Back-up light
Open the trunk lid and remove the
trunk panel cover clips.
Partly remove the trunk panel
cover and turn bulb bases
counterclockwise.
Remove the light bulb.

Rear turn signal lights
Open the trunk lid and remove the
covers.
Remove the bolts and unit.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
Remove the light bulb.

Bulbs other than the above
If any of the bulbs listed below has burnt out, have your Lexus dealer
replace it.
●Headlight low beams (vehicles with halogen bulbs)
● Headlight high and low beams (vehicles with discharge bulbs)
● Front fog lights
● Parking/daytime running lights (vehicles with discharge headlights)
● Front turn signal lights
● Front side marker lights
● Side turn signal lights
● Stop/tail lights
● Tail lights
● Rear side marker lights
● High mounted stoplight
● License plate lights
■When replacing the front left headlight high beam and parking light bulbs (vehi-
cles with halogen headlights)
Remove the securing bolt and move the
washer fluid filler opening to allow easy
access to the light bulbs.
After replacing the bulbs, make sure to
secure the washer fluid filler opening with the
bolt.
