Warning lights and indicators
The warning lights and indicators on th
e instrument cluster and center panel
inform the driver of the status of the vehicle’s various systems.
For the purpose of explanation, the foll owing illustrations display all warning
lights and indicators illuminated.

*1: These lights turn on when the engine switch is turned to IGNITION ON mode toindicate that a system check is being perfor med. They will turn off after the engine is
on, or after a few seconds. There may be a ma lfunction in a system if the lights do not
come on, or turn off. Have the vehi cle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
*2: The light flashes to indicate that the system is operating.
*3: The light comes on when the system is turned off. The light flashes faster than usual to
indicate that the system is operating.
*4: In order to confirm operation, the BSM outside rear view mirror indicators illuminatein the following situations:
• When the engine switch is turned to IGNITION ON mode while the BSM main
switch is set to ON.
• When the BSM main switch is set to ON while the engine switch is in IGNITION
ON mode.
If the system is functioning correctly, the BSM outside rear view mirror indicators will
turn off after a few seconds.
If the BSM outside rear view mirror indica tors do not illuminate or do not turn off,
there may be a malfunction in the system.
If this occurs, have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
*5: This light illuminates on the outside rear view mirrors.
*6: This light illuminates on the center panel.
*7: When the outside temperature is approximately 37 F (3 C) or lower, the indicator
will flash for approximately 10 seconds, then stay on.

The engine switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
■Instrument panel brightness adjustment
The instrument panel brig htness levels when the tail ligh ts are on and off can be adjusted
individually. However, when the surroundings ar e bright (daytime, etc.), turning on the tail
lights will not change the instru ment panel brightness. At this time, any adjustments made
to the instrument panel bright ness levels will be applied to both settings at once.
■Outside temperature display
In the following situations, the correct outside temperature may not be displayed, or the
display may take longer than normal to change.
●When stopped, or driving at low speeds (less than 12 mph [20 km/h])
●When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the entrance/exit of a garage,
tunnel, etc.)
■Pop-up display
In some situations, such as when a switch op eration is performed, a pop-up display, such
as the operating methods of the headlight sw itch, will be temporarily displayed on the
multi-information display or the odometer/t rip meter screen (F SPORT models only).
The pop-up display function can be set on/off. ( P. 8 9 )
■Liquid crystal display
Small spots or light spots may appear on the display. This phenomenon is characteristic
of liquid crystal displays, and there is no problem continuing to use the display.
■Customization

■Distance (driving range/after start)*
Displays the estimated maximum distance that can be driven with the quantity
of fuel remaining and the distance driv en after the engine was started respec-
tively.
• This distance is computed based on your average fuel consumption. As a result,
the actual distance that can be driven may differ from that displayed.
• When only a small amount of fuel is added to the tank, the display may not be
updated.
When refueling, turn the engine switch off. If the vehicle is refueled without turning
the engine switch off, the display may not be updated.
