Indicates that the vehicle is being driven at 3 mph (5 km/
h) or more with the parking brake still engaged. A buzzer also sounds.
 Release the parking brake.
Indicates that the shift lever was used to attempt to shift
to the first gear position in M mode on a slippery road
surface
The gear position will not sh ift from the second gear.
A buzzer also sounds.
 Drive the vehicle in the second or a higher gear
position.
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The SRS airbag system;
• The front passenger occupant classification system; or
• The seat belt pretensioner system

 Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The ABS; or
• The brake assist system

fully closed (with the engine switch off, and the driver’s
door open)A buzzer also sounds.
 Close all the windows and the moon roof.
Indicates a malfunction in the brake override system

Indicates that engine oil level is low
A buzzer also sounds.
 Check the level of engine oil, and add if necessary.
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The automatic headlig ht leveling system; or
• The Automatic High Beam system (if equipped)
• The LED headlight system (if equipped)

Indicates that the accelerator and brake pedal are being

Indicates a malfunction in the tire pressure warning sys-
tem
 Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine
switch off then on again.
If the tire pressure warning indicator flashes for 1
minute then illuminates, there is a malfunction in the
system. Have the vehicle inspected at your Lexus
dealer.
Indicates that the tire position information cannot be rec-
ognized
Drive for a short while an d check if the display
updates.
If the radio wave conditions improve, the display
may return to normal. If th e tire pressure is still not
displayed after driving for several minutes, stop the
vehicle in a safe place, turn the engine switch off
then on again, and start driving.
If the tire pressure is still not displayed even after
repeating this process several times, have the vehi-
cle inspected at your Lexus dealer.
Indicates that the wash er fluid level is low
 Add washer fluid.
Indicates that remaining fuel is approximately 2.6 gal.
(10 L, 2.2 Imp. gal.) or less
 Refuel the vehicle.
Indicates that the TRAC (Tra ction Control) system has
been deactivated

the maintenance data has been reset.
(The indicator will not work properly unless the mainte-

 Perform the necessary maintenance. Please reset
the maintenance data afte r the maintenance is per-

Indicates that the Automatic High Beam switch is
pressed while the headlights are in low beam.
 Turn the high beam on and press the Automatic
High Beam switch again.

system was turned off, the pre-collision brake system
operation is stopped

Indicates that the PCS (Pre-Collision System) is not cur-
rently functional because the grille cover or the sensor is
dirty
 Check the grille cover and the sensor and clean
them if they are dirty.

systems such as the air conditioning system are sus-
pended
Stop using unnecessary electric components to
reduce electricity consumption. Wait a while until
the electric power supply is restored.

cannot be used because the vehicle speed is lower than
approximately 32 mph (50 km/h)

• When the doors were unlockedwith the mechanical key and then
the engine switch was pressed,
the electronic key could not be
detected in the vehicle.
• The electronic key could not be detected in the vehicle even after
the engine switch was pressed
two consecutive times.
 Touch the electronic key to the
engine switch while depressing
the brake pedal.

During an engine starting proce-
dure in the event that the electronic
key was not functioning properly
( P. 489), the engine switch was
touched with the electronic key.
 Press the engine switch within
10 seconds of the buzzer sound-
ing.


• With the engine switch off, the
doors were unlocked and then the
driver's door was opened and
closed
• The engine switch was turned to ACCESSORY mode without
starting the engine
• The shift lever was shifted to P or N from another shift position with
the engine switch in IGNITION
ON mode.
