BASIC FUNCTION
CHANGING A DEVICE NAME
1Select “Device name”.
2Enter the name and select “OK”.
SETTING AUDIO PLAYER CON-
NECTION METHOD
1Select “Connect audio player from”.
2Select the desired connection meth-
od.
“Vehicle”: Select to connect the audio
system to the audio player.
“Device”: Select to connect the audio
player to the audio system.
Depending on the audio player, the
“Vehicle” or “Device” connection
method may be best. As such, refer to
the manual that comes with the audio
player.
To reset the connection method, select
“Defaults”.
INFORMATION
If 2 Bluetooth® devices have been
registered with the same device name,
the devices can be distinguished
referring to the device’s address.
Depending on the type of telephone,
some information may not be dis-
played.
INFORMATION
Even if the device name is changed,
the name registered in your Blue-
tooth
® device does not change.

TINGS

networks”.

change the connection priority of the
network.
“Remove”: Select to delete a network.
Any network connected to in the past
is set as a preferred network. The pri-
ority of the networks to connect to
can be changed.

Wi-Fi® FUNCTION
OPERATING HINTS
WA R N I N G
Use Wi-Fi® devices only when safe
and legal to do so.
Your audio unit is fitted with Wi-Fi®
antennas. People with implantable
cardiac pacemakers, cardiac resyn-
chronization therapy-pacemakers or
implantable cardioverter defibrillators
should maintain a reasonable distance
between themselves and the Wi-Fi
®
antennas.
The radio waves may affect the oper-
ation of such devices.
Before using Wi-Fi® devices, users of
any electrical medical device other
than implantable cardiac pacemak-
ers, cardiac resynchronization ther-
apy-pacemakers or implantable
cardioverter defibrillators should con-
sult the manufacturer of the device for
information about its operation under
the influence of radio waves.
Radio waves could have unexpected
effects on the operation of such medi-
cal devices.

Map data for the navigation system
is contained in a SD card that is in-
serted in the SD card slot located at
the bottom of the audio control pan-
el.
Do not eject the SD card, as doing so
may deactivate the navigation sys-
tem.
NOTICE
Do not edit or delete the map data on
the SD card, as doing so may deacti-
vate the navigation system.
