Driving Aids (if so equipped)
To change the status, warnings or turn on or off
any of the systems/warnings displayed in the
“Driving Aids” menu.

Back-up Collision Interv.(ention) (if so

The back-up collision intervention system can be
changed to be ON when the ignition switch is
placed in the ON position and to Auto Resume. Use the

Intelligent Brake Assist (if so equipped)
The intelligent brake assist system can be
enabled/disabled in the vehicle information dis-
play.

Vehicle Settings
The vehicle settings allows the customer to
change settings for rain sensor (if so equipped) ,
interior lights, intelligent key settings, unlock set-
tings and other vehicle settings.
The vehicle settings can be changed using
the
,, and the ENTER buttons.
Welcome light (if so equipped)
The welcome light can be set to be ON or OFF.
From the Vehicle Settings menu, select “Wel-
come Light”. Use the ENTER button to turn this
feature ON or OFF. Auto Room Lamp
The interior lights can be set to be ON or OFF if
any door is unlocked. From the Vehicle Settings
menu, select “Auto Room Light”. Use the ENTER
button to turn this feature ON or OFF.
Light Sensitivity
The lights sensitivity can be set to the illuminate
earlier based on the brightness outside the ve-
hicle. From the Vehicle Settings menu, select
“Light Sensitivity”. Use the ENTER button to
change the sensitivity.
Light Off Delay
The duration of the automatic headlights can be
changed from 0 to 180 seconds. From the Ve-
hicle Settings menu, select “Light Off Delay”. Use
the ENTER button to change the duration.
Rain Sensor (if so equipped)
The rain sensor can be set to be ON or OFF. From
the Vehicle Settings menu, select “Rain Sensor”.
Use the ENTER button to turn this feature ON or
OFF.
Wiper with Speed
The wiper with speed can be set to be ON or
OFF. From the Vehicle Settings menu, select
“Wiper with Speed”. Use the ENTER button to
turn this feature ON or OFF.

When the ON switch1is pressed, the footwell
lights, step lights, map lights and rear personal
lights will automatically turn on and stay on for a
period of time when:
● The doors are unlocked by the Intelligent
Key, a key or the request switch while all
doors are closed and the ignition switch is in
the OFF position.
● The driver’s door is opened and then closed
while the key is removed from the ignition
switch.
● When individually pushed. When the OFF switch
2is pushed, the interior
lights do not illuminate even when pushed.
NOTE:
The footwell lights and step lights illumi-
nate when the driver and passenger doors
are open regardless of the interior light
switch position. These lights will turn off
automatically after a period of time while
doors are open to prevent the battery from
becoming discharged.
CAUTION
Do not use for extended periods of time
with the engine stopped. This could result
in a discharged battery.
CONSOLE LIGHT
The console light1will turn on whenever the
parking lights or headlights are illuminated.
The console light brightness can be adjusted
with the illumination brightness control.

Unlocking doors
1. Carry the Intelligent Key.
2. Push the door handle request switch.
3. The hazard warning lights flash once and theoutside buzzer sounds once.
4. Push the door handle request switch again within 1 minute to unlock all doors.
For power liftgate opening: 1. Carry the Intelligent Key.
2. Press the power liftgate request switch. NOTE:
Request switches for all doors and liftgate
can be deactivated when the I-Key Door
Lock setting is switched to OFF in the Ve-
hicle Settings of the vehicle information
display. For additional information, see
“Vehicle information display” in the “In-
struments and controls” section of this
manual.
If a door handle is pulled while unlocking the
doors, that door may not be unlocked. Returning
the door handle to its original position will unlock
the door. If the door does not unlock after return- ing the door handle, push the door handle re-
quest switch to unlock the door.
All doors will be locked automatically unless one
of the following operations is performed within
1 minute after pushing the request switch.
● Opening any door.
● Pushing the ignition switch.
The interior light timer illuminates for a period of
time when a door is unlocked and the room light
switch is in the DOOR position.
The interior light can be turned off without waiting
by performing one of the following operations: ● Placing the ignition switch in the ON posi-
tion.
● Locking the doors with the remote controller.
● Switching the room light switch to the OFF
position.
● Switching the Auto Room Lamp to the OFF
position in Vehicle Settings of the vehicle
information display. See “Vehicle information
display” in the “Instruments and controls”
section.

Unlocking doors

of the following operations is performed within

button:
● Opening any doors.
● Pushing the ignition switch.
The interior light illuminates for a period of time
when a door is unlocked and the room light
switch is in the DOOR position.
The light can be turned off without waiting by
performing one of the following operations: ● Placing the ignition switch in the ON posi-
tion.
● Locking the doors with the Intelligent Key.
● Switching the room light switch to the OFF
position. ●

Opening windows
The Intelligent Key allows you to simultaneously
open windows equipped with automatic opera-
tion.
● To open the windows, press the
but-
ton on the Intelligent Key for longer than
3 seconds after all doors are unlocked.
The door windows will open while pressing
the
button on the Intelligent Key.
The door windows cannot be closed by
using the Intelligent Key.
Linking the keyfob to automatic drive
positioner memory
If the vehicle is equipped with automatic drive
positioner, the keyfob can be linked to a memory
setting.
See “Automatic drive positioner” in this section.

Auto Interior Illumina-
tion Select to turn on or turn off the illumination of the interior lights when any door is unlocked.
Light Sensitivity Select to adjust the sensitivity of the automatic headlights higher (right) or lower (left) .
Light OFF delay Select to change the duration of the automatic headlight off timer from 0–, 30–, 45–, 60–, 90–, 120–, 150– and 180–second periods.
Selective Door Un-
lock When this item is turned on, only the driver’s door is unlocked first after the door unlock operation. When the door handle request switch on the
driver’s or front passenger’s side door is pushed to be locked, only the corresponding door is unlocked first. All the doors can be unlocked if the
door unlock operation is performed again within 1 minute.
When this item is turned off, all the doors will be unlocked after the door unlock operation is performed once.
Intelligent Key Lock/
Unlock Select to turn on or turn off the door lock/unlock function by pushing the door handle request switch.
Lift Steering Wheel
on Exit
(if so equipped) Select to turn on or turn off the steering wheel moving upward for easy exit when the ignition switch is in the OFF position and the driver’s door is
opened. After getting into the vehicle and pushing the ignition switch to the ACC position, the steering wheel moves to the previous position.
Slide Driver Seat
