When the door is unlocked, you can

above the inner door handle.You can customize the door lock/
unlock settings (see
page).
All doors and the hatch can be
locked f rom the outside by using the
key in the driver’s door. To unlock
only the driver’s door, insert the key,
turn it clockwise, and release it. The
remaining doors and the hatch
unlock when you turn the key a
second time within a f ew seconds.
To lock all doors and the hatch, push
the front of the master door lock
switch on the driver’s door, pull the
locktabrearwardonthedriver’s
door, or use the key on the outside
lock on the driver’s door.
Pushing the rear of the master door
lock switch will unlock all doors and
the hatch. Pushing f orward the lock
tab on the driver’s door unlocks only
that door. The lock tab on each passenger’s
door locks and unlocks that door.

The hatch will lock or unlock when
you lock/unlock the driver’s door
with the key, the remote transmitter,
the master door lock switch, or the
locktabonthedriver’sdoor.
To unlock the hatch, turn the key
clockwise twice, push the rear of
the master door lock switch, or
push UNLOCK twice on the
remote transmitter.Keep the hatch closed at all times
while driving to avoid damaging the
hatch and to prevent exhaust gas

system in your vehicle maintains the
interior temperature you select. The
system also adjusts the f an speed
and airf low levels.
The climate control system f or your
vehicle can also be operated using
the voice control system. See the
navigation system manual f or
complete details.
Press the AUTO button. You will
see AUTO in the display.
Set the desired temperature
by turning the temperature
control dial.
The system automatically selects
the proper mix of conditioned
and/or heated air that will, as
quickly as possible, raise or
lower the interior temperature
to your preference.During the auto idle stop, the air
conditioning system will be turned
off.If theECONmodeisselected,
thefanmayalsobeturnedoff.
Turning this dial clockwise increases
the temperature of the airflow.

For example: 1:06 will reset to 1:001:52 will reset to 2:00
When you set the time, the ignition
switch must be ACCESSORY (I) or
ON (II) position.
To set the time, press the CLOCK
button until you hear a beep. The
displayed time begins to blink.
Change the hours by pressing the H
(hour) button until the numbers
advance to the desired time. Change
the minutes by pressing the M
(minute) button until the numbers
advance to the desired time.
Press the CLOCK button again to
enter the set time.
You can quickly set the time to the
nearest hour. If the displayed time is
bef ore the half hour, press and hold
the CLOCK button, then press the R
(reset) button to set the time back to
the previous hour. If the displayed
time is af ter the half hour, the same
procedure sets the time f orward to
the beginning of the next hour.

If the reserve tank is completely
empty, you should also check the
coolant level in the radiator.The coolant level should be up to
the base of the f iller neck. Add
coolant if it is low.
Do not add any rust inhibitors or
other additives to your vehicle’s
cooling system. They may not be
compatible with the coolant or
engine components. Pour coolant into the reserve tank.
Fill it to half way between the MAX
and MIN marks. Put the cap back
on the reserve tank. Pourthecoolantslowlyand
caref ully so you do not spill any.
Clean up any spill immediately; it
could damage components in the
engine compartment.
Put the radiator cap back on, and
tighten it fully.
Remove the radiator cap by
pushing down and turning
counterclockwise. Relieve any pressure in the cooling
system by turning the radiator cap
counterclockwise, without
pressing down. Make sure the engine and radiator
are cool.

Open the hood.
Your vehicle has halogen headlight
bulbs. When replacing a bulb,
handle it by its base, and protect the
glass from contact with your skin or
hard objects. If you touch the glass,
clean it with denatured alcohol and a
clean cloth. Theheadlightswereproperlyaimed
when your vehicle was new. If you
regularly carry heavy items in the
cargo area, readjustment may be
required. Adjustments should be
done by your dealer or another
qualif ied technician.
To change the bulb on the right
side, remove the upper part of the
windshield washer reservoir tank.
Use a f lat-tip screwdriver to
remove the holding clip, then
remove the upper part by pulling it
straight up.Remove the electrical connector
f rom the cover by pushing on the
tab to unlock it, then slide the
connector of f the cover.
Remove the cover on the back of
the headlight assembly by turning
it counterclockwise.
