Remote Start (If Equipped)
WARNING:To avoid exhaust fumes, do not use remote start if
your vehicle is parked indoors or areas that are not well
ventilated.
Note:Do not use remote start if your vehicle is low on fuel.
The remote start button is on the transmitter.
This feature allows you to start your vehicle from outside your vehicle.
The transmitter has an extended operating range.
Vehicles with automatic climate control can be configured to operate
when the vehicle is remote started. See theClimate Controlchapter for
more information. A manual climate control system will run at the setting
it was set to when your vehicle was last turned off.
Many states and provinces have restrictions for the use of remote start.
Check your local and state or provincial laws for specific requirements
regarding remote start systems.
The remote start system will not work if:
•the ignition is on
•the alarm system is triggered
•you disable the feature
•the hood is open
•the transmission is not inP
•the vehicle battery voltage is too low
•the fuel is too low
•the service engine soon light is on.

Foldaway Exterior Mirrors
Push the mirror toward the door window glass. Make sure that you fully
engage the mirror in its support when returning it to its original position.
Heated Exterior Mirror (If Equipped)
The heated exterior mirrors switch on with the heated rear window. See
Heated Windows and Mirrorsin theClimate Controlchapter.
Memory Mirrors (If Equipped)
You can save and recall the mirror positions through the memory
function. SeeMemory functionin theSeatschapter.
Signal Indicator Mirrors (If Equipped)
The outer portion of the appropriate mirror housing blinks when you
activate the turn signal.
Integrated Blind Spot Mirrors (If Equipped)
WARNING:Objects in the blind spot mirror are closer than they
appear.
Blind spot mirrors have an integrated convex mirror built into the upper
outboard corner of the exterior mirrors. They are designed to assist you
by increasing visibility along the side of your vehicle.
Check the main mirror first before a lane change, then check the blind
spot mirror. If no vehicles are present in the blind spot mirror and the
traffic in the adjacent lane is at a safe distance, signal that you are going
to change lanes. Glance over your shoulder to verify traffic is clear, and
carefully change lanes.

MANUAL CLIMATE CONTROL
A.Fan speed control:Controls the volume of air circulated in your
vehicle. Adjust to select the desired fan speed.
B.Defrost:Press the button to distribute air to the windshield vents
and de-mister. Air distribution to instrument panel and footwell vents
turn off. You can use this setting to defog and clear the windshield of a
thin covering of ice.
C.Power:Press the button to turn the system on and off. Switching off
the climate control system prevents outside air from entering the vehicle.
D.A/C:Press the button to turn air conditioning compressor on or off.
Use air conditioning with recirculated air to improve cooling performance
and efficiency.
E.Recirculated air:Press the button to switch between outside air and
recirculated air. When you select recirculated air, the air currently in the
passenger compartment recirculates. This may reduce the time needed
to cool the interior (when used withA/C)and may reduce unwanted
odors from entering your vehicle.
Note:Recirculated air may turn off automatically (or be prevented
from turning on) in all airflow modes exceptMAX A/Cto reduce risk
of fogging.
F.Temperature control:Controls the temperature of the airflow in
your vehicle. Adjust to select the desired temperature.

G.MAX A/C:Press the button to maximize cooling. Recirculated air
flows through the instrument panel vents, air conditioning automatically
turns on, and the fan automatically adjusts to the highest speed.
H.Air distribution control:Press these buttons to turn airflow from
the windshield, instrument panel, or footwell vents on or off. The system
can distribute air through any combination of these vents.
I.Heated rear window:Turns the heated rear window on and off.

AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL
Note:You can switch temperature units between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

A.Power/Driver temperature control:Press the button to turn the
system on and off. Switching off the climate control system prevents
outside air from entering the vehicle.
Turn to increase or decrease the air temperature for the driver side of
the vehicle. This control also adjusts the passenger side temperature
when not in dual zone mode.
B.AUTO:Press the button to turn on automatic operation. Select the
desired temperature using the temperature control. The system adjusts
fan speed, air distribution, air conditioning operation, and selects outside
air or recirculated air to heat or cool the vehicle in order to maintain the
