"Keyless Entry and Starting" system
System that allows the opening, closing and starting of the vehicle while keeping the electronic key
on your person.
Electronic key
This electronic key can also be used as a
remote control.
Refer to the "Remote control" section.
It includes an integral emergency key.
Unlocking the vehicle
Unlocking by the doors
F With the electronic key on your person and in one of the recognition zones A , press
one of the buttons on the door handles to
unlock the vehicle.
T
hen pull on the door handle to open the
d o o r.
Unlocking by the boot
F With the electronic key on your person and in the recognition zone A located at the
rear, press the button on the boot handle to
unlock the vehicle and release the tailgate.
T
hen raise the tailgate to open it.
The direction indicators flash twice to
confirm the unlocking of the vehicle.
As a safety measure, the detection
zones in which the the electronic key
is operational have a radius of about
70
cm around each opening button.

Locking / unlocking and opening the boot
Using the keyUsing the remote control
F Press the open padlock to unlock
the vehicle and boot.

nsert the key in the lock barrel and turn
it to the right to unlock and release the
tailgate.

he vehicle remains locked.

aise the tailgate by the exterior handle to
open it.

ress the opening button to release the
tailgate.

aise the tailgate by the exterior handle to
open it.

P
ress the closed padlock to
unlock the boot and vehicle.
As soon as you close the tailgate, it locks
again.

and release the tailgate.

he vehicle is unlocked as well.

aise the tailgate by the exterior handle to
open it.
Using the Keyless Entry
and Starting system
If the vehicle had been previously unlocked by
the front door, it is not necessary to have the
electronic key on your person to use the boot
opening control. F
W
ith the electronic key on your person,
press the button on the boot sill to lock it.
or
L
ock the vehicle by the front doors.
When closing the boot, do not slam shut
the tailgate: guide it down and release it
at the end of its travel.

Rear parcel shelf
To facilitate loading of the boot, the rear parcel
shelf is fitted to the tailgate.
When closing the tailgate, check that nothing
could inter fere with the return to position of
the
s
helf.
Do not place heavy loads on the shelf,
as they may cause the shelf to unclip.
To remove the shelf:

pen the tailgate,
F
u
nclip the two cords,
F
p
ull firmly on the shelf to disengage it from
its hinges on the tailgate inner trim.
You can then stow the shelf behind the front
seats. To refit the shelf:

pen the tailgate,
F
p
osition the underside of the shelf facing
you,
F
c
lip the shelf into the two hinges,
F
p
ass the two cords through the guides
either side of the struts,
F
c
lip the two cords in place.

Number plate lamps (W5W)
F Insert a thin screwdriver into one of the cutouts in the the lens.

ush it outwards to unclip it.

emove the lens.

hange the faulty bulb.
Third brake lamp (4 W5W bulbs)
F With the boot open, unclip the plastic c ove r.
F

ress the metal clips to disengage the lamp.
F

emove the lamp via the exterior of the
tailgate.
F

emove the bulb-holder by squeezing the
plastic catches.
F
C
hange the failed bulb(s).
Direction indicator side repeaters
(WY 5W amber)
F Push the repeater for wards or rear wards and detach it by pulling towards you.
F
D
isconnect the bulb holder and change it.
To refit, press on the lens to clip it in place. To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
o r d e r.
