To Decrease Speed
• When the Electronic Speed Control is set, you can decrease speed by pushing the SET-
button.
The speed decrement shown is dependant on the speed of U.S. (mph) or Metric (km/h) units:
U.S. Speed (mph)
• Pressing the SET -button once will result in a 1 mph decrease in set speed. Each subsequent
tap of the button results in a decrease of 1 mph.
• If the button is continually pressed, the set speed will continue to decrease until the button is released, then the new set speed will be established.
Metric Speed (km/h)
• Pressing the SET -button once will result in a 2 km/h decrease in set speed. Each subsequent
tap of the button results in a decrease of 2 km/h.
• If the button is continually pressed, the set speed will continue to decrease until the button is released, then the new set speed will be established.
Resume
• To resume a previously selected set speed in memory, push the RES + button and release.
Cancel
• Push the CANCEL button, or apply the brakes to cancel the set speed and maintain the setspeed memory.
• Push the ON/OFF button to turn the system off and erase the set speed memory.
WARNING!
• Leaving the Electronic Speed Control system on when not in use is dangerous. You could accidentally set the system or cause it to go faster than you want. You could lose control
and have a collision. Always leave the Electronic Speed Control system off when you are
not using it.
• Electronic Speed Control can be dangerous where the system cannot maintain a constant speed. Your vehicle could go too fast for the conditions, and you could lose control.
A collision could be the result. Do not use Electronic Speed Control in heavy traffic or on
roads that are winding, icy, snow-covered or slippery.

Integrated Power Module (fuses)
• The Totally Integrated Power Module is located in the engine compartment near the battery.This center contains cartridge fuses and mini-fuses. A label that identifies each component
may be printed or embossed on the inside of the cover.
• The numbers inside the TIPM cover correspond to the following table.

The power windows are fused by a 25 Amp circuit breaker located in the Totally Integrated Power
Module.
TIRE PRESSURES
Check the inflation pressure of each tire, including the spare tire, at least monthly and inflate to
the recommended pressure for your vehicle.
The tire pressures recommended for your vehicle are found on the “Tire and Loading Informa-
tion” label located on the driver’s side door opening.

WARNING!
•Overloading of your tires is dangerous. Overloading can cause tire failure, affect vehicle
handling, and increase your stopping distance. Use tires of the recommended load capacity
for your vehicle. Never overload them.
•Improperly inflated tires are dangerous and can cause collisions. Under-inflation is the leading
cause of tire failure and may result in severe cracking, component separation, or “blow out”.
Over-inflation reduces a tire’s ability to cushion shock. Objects on the road and chuck holes
can cause damage that results in tire failure. Unequal tire pressures can cause steering
problems. You could lose control of your vehicle. Over-inflated or under-inflated tires can
affect vehicle handling and can fail suddenly, resulting in loss of vehicle control.
