To unlock the fuel tank cap,
insert the key and turn it coun-
terclockwise.
Turn the fuel tank cap slowly
to open.

Closing the fuel tank cap
Ty p e A
After refueling, turn the fuel tank
cap until you hear a click. Once
the cap is released, it will turn
slightly in the opposite direction.

Close the fuel tank cap
Make sure to put the fuel tank cap
with the arrow upward and turn it
slowly to close.
Lock the fuel cap

When driving

The meters illuminate when
Vehicles without optitron type meter
The front position lights is turned on.
Vehicles with optitron type meter
The engine switch is in the “ON” position.
The odometer and trip meter display illuminate when
The engine switch is in the “ON” position.
The brightness of the instrument panel lights
When the headlight switch is turned to on, the brightness will be reduced
slightly unless the control dial is turned fully clockwise.
When disconnecting and reconnecting battery terminals
The trip meter data will be reset.
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the engine and its components
Do not let the indicator needle of the tachometer enter the red zone, which
indicates the maximum engine speed.
The engine may be overheating if the engine coolant temperature gauge is
in the red zone (H). In this case, immediately stop the vehicle in a safe
place, and check the engine after it has cooled completely. (P. 592)
