Gear Shift Indicator (if equipped)
The Gear Shift Indicator display is a guide to help the driver achieve
improved fuel economy and reduced exhaust emissions within limits
of engine performance.

Speedometer
Displays the vehicle speed.
“DISP.”/instrument panel light control button
Press: Switches the multi-information display.
Turn: To adjust the brightness of the instrument panel light. (P. 244)
Fuel gauge
Displays the quantity of fuel remaining in the tank.
Clock
Displays the time.
Engine coolant temperature gauge
Displays the engine coolant temperature.
Odometer/trip meter and trip meter reset button
Switches between odometer and trip meter displays. Pushing and hold-
ing the button will reset the trip meter when the trip meter is being dis-
played.

Displays the date and outside
temperature.
The temperature range that can
be displayed is from -40°C (-40°F)
to 50°C (122°F).
Instantaneous fuel consumption
Displays the instantaneous fuel
consumption.

Displays the average fuel con-
sumption since the function was
last reset.
• The function can be reset by
pressing the “DISP.” button or
“DISP” switch for longer than 1
second when the average fuel
consumption is displayed.
• Use the displayed average fuel
consumption as a reference.
Eco Driving Indicator Zone Display (if equipped)
The ratio of the current accelera-
tion to the Zone of Eco driving is
displayed.

Displays the estimated maxi-
mum distance that can be driven
with the quantity of fuel remain-
ing.
• This distance is computed
based on your average fuel
consumption. As a result, the
actual distance that can be
driven may differ from that dis-
played.
• When only a small amount of
fuel is added to the tank, the
display may not be updated.
When refueling, turn the
“ENGINE START STOP”
switch off (vehicles with smart
entry & start system) or the
engine switch to the “LOCK”
position (vehicles without
smart entry & start system).
If the vehicle is refueled with-
out turning the “ENGINE
START STOP” switch off or the
engine switch to the “LOCK”
position, the display may not
be updated.
