When trouble arises
Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place and take the specified
steps to correct the suspected problem.
To prevent the clutch from overheating
Observe the following while driving.
Do not keep driving up a hill at low speeds.
Do not start off and stop repeatedly on an uphill.
Do not use the accelerator pedal or starting assist system to hold the vehicle
on a hill.(Comes on)
Multi-mode manual trans-

transmission system and
that the clutch has
become hot due to exces-

Pull over and shift the shift

engine oil and oil filter by any
authorized Toyota dealer, or
another duly qualified and
equipped professional. After
changing the engine oil, the
oil change system should be
