Steering wheel heating switch
The steering wheel heating switch is mounted to the lower main panel. In that, signal voltage from the
steering wheel heating controller, which is installed in the steering wheel, is grounded. This is used as
an operation signal for the steering wheel heating system. The indicator in the switch comes on when it
is operated.

1) Front Seat Heating and Ventilation Switch Overview (2-level of
Driver Seat Heating and Ventilation, 2-level of Passenger Seat
Heating)
The temperature of the seat can be adjusted in 3
seat heated wire and ventilation switch. Every
time the seat heating and ventilation switch is
pressed, the temperature level goes down by
one level. Pressing the switch a third time will turn
off the operation. Pressing the desired side of the
switch heats the seat cushion and seatback or
activates the seat ventilation function. The
temperature of the seat is kept uniform by cutting
off or connecting power through thermistor fitted
in the seat. The seat heating and ventilation unit
controls the rpm of the motor using PWM control
to operate the seat ventilation.

The front seat heating switch can be operated to
the desired temperature (LO/HI) by pressing the
the seat heating switch to heat the seat and
seatback. When the temperature reaches 40
connects and cuts the power to keep the
temperature stable. There is no separate seat
warmer unit to control the temperature of the seat
heating system.

Ensure that the connection or disconnection between the audio system and the USB memory/iPod
is carried out only when the engine is switched off. If the engine is switched on or off while the USB
memory is connected or disconnected, the USB memory may be damaged or not operate normally.
The audio system may not recognize some USB memory depending on the comparability or
condition. Check whether the USB memory operates normally in the vehicle before using it.
Take great care to ensure that the USB connection does not come in contact with the human body
or any object and the USB linking cable does not disturb a safe driving.
When you connect and disconnect the USB memory to the audio system several times in a short
periods, it may cause the USB memory to corrupt. If you particularly disconnect USB memory
during playback, it may be broken or operate incorrectly.
When you use the USB device for charging or heating by using the USB terminal on the audio
system, it may cause the system to deteriorate or fail.
iPod is a registered trademark of Apple Inc.
This audio system supports only the following iPod products: iPod Nano /iPod/iPod Touch/ iPhone.
This audio system may not support some iPod/iPhone products.
Always use the linking cable included with the iPod product when connecting it to the audio system.
The other cables may not be compatible and cause the audio system to fail.
In some cases, the iPod product may be damaged or not operate normally when the engine is
switched on while it is connected to the audio system. When not in use, always disconnect the iPod
product with the engine switched off.
When you use the iPod by connecting it to the audio system, the playback function and information
display may differ from original.
The iPod product can't be recharged using a iPod linking cable. -

1. OVERVIEW
The climate system in the vehicle is an air regulating system which keeps the indoor air pleasant through
the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The air conditioning systems fall in to two
categories; FATC (Full Automatic Temperature Control), which is a temperature control device which
receives signals from various sensors (ambient temperature sensor, water temperature sensor, sun-
load sensor, AMP sensor) and control switches to control the blower motor and all kinds of actuator
(mode door actuator, mix door actuator, air source door actuator) through MICOM in the FATC,
therefore, the interior temperature of the vehicle is kept to the temperature which is set by a driver and
MTC (Manual Temperature Control), which controls all the actuator and blower motor by the driver.

(2) Temperature control
The blowing air temperature is controlled by the temp actuator and the set temperature can be checked
via the LCD display.
Manual control
The discharge air temperature is controlled by the temperature control dial. The driver can select one
of the 31 levels.
Auto control
When pressing the AUTO switch, "AUTO" is shown on the display and the fan speed and air distribution
mode are adjusted automatically to keep interior temperature to the set temperature. In full AUTO mode,
the FATC receives various signals such as the indoor temperature, ambient temperature, engine coolant
temperature, sunlight, from different sensors to control the A/C compressor, mode actuator, intake
actuator, temp actuator, blower motors, etc. to keep indoor environments fresh.
Max. cooling/heating control (AUTO mode)
If the temperature is set to the lowest level (Lo) or highest level (Hi), the system will go into the maximum
cooling or maximum heating mode regardless of the sensor signals.
