The integral key is used to lock and unlock the

Inser t the key in the lock to lock or unlock thedoor. 
 
 
Passenger doors

 On the rear doors, check that the child lock 
is not on. F   Remove the black cap located on the edgeof the door, using the key.F 
 Inser t the key into the aper ture withoutforcing, then without turning, move the 
latch sideways towards the inside of 
the door.F    Remove the key and refit the cap.
Remote control problem 
 
Following disconnection of the vehicle battery, 
replacement of the remote control battery or 
in the event of a remote control malfunction
, you can no longer unlock, lock or locateyour vehicle.F   First of all, use the key in the lock to unlock
or lock your vehicle. F    Then, reinitialise the remote control.
  If the problem persists, contact a PEUGEOT 
dealer or a qualified workshop as soon as 
possible.
   
Reinitialisation with the remote control

  Switch on the ignition.F 
 Immediately press one of the remotecontrol buttons for a few seconds. F 
  Switch off the ignition.

Access
Changing the battery of the key
Battery ref.: CR2032 / 3 volts.
This replacement battery is available from a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
  A message appears in the instrument panel 
screen when replacement of the battery is needed. FUnclip the cover using a small screwdriver at the cutout. 
FLift off the cover. 
FRemove the 
flat battery from its location.
FFit the new battery into its location 
observing the original direction of fitment.FClip the cover onto the casing.
Do not throw the remote controlbatteries away, they contain metals which are harmful to the environment. Take them to an approved collection point. 
   Reinitialisation with the electronic key

 Switch of the ignition. F 
  Immediately press one of the remotecontrol buttons for a few seconds.
F 
  Switch on the ignition  
  The electronic key is fully operational again.

Access
Lost keys, remote control, electronic key 
  Visit a PEUGEOT dealer with the vehicle's V5 registration document and your personal identification documents.  
The PEUGEOT dealer will be able to retrieve the key code and the transponder code required to order a replacement.
Remote control
The high frequency remote control is a sensitive system; do not operate it while it is in your pocket as there is a possibility that it may unlockthe vehicle, without you being aware of it. Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your remote control out of range and out of sight of your vehicle. You run the risk of stopping it fromworking and the remote control would have to be reinitialised.The remote control does not operate when the key is in the ignition, even when the ignition is switched off.
Locking the vehicle
Driving with the doors locked may make access to the passenger compar tment by the emergency ser vices more difficult in an emergency.  
As a safety precaution (with children on board), remove the key from the ignition or take the electronic key when you leave the vehicle, even for a short time.  
Electrical interference
The Keyless Entry and Starting electronic key may not operate if close to certain electronic devices: telephone, laptop computer, strongmagnetic fields, ...  
Anti-theft protection
Do not make any modifications to the electronic engine immobiliser system; this could cause malfunctions. Don't forget to turn the steering to engage the steering lock.  
When purchasing a second-hand vehicle 
Have the key codes memorised by a PEUGEOT dealer, to ensure that the keys in your possession are the only ones which can star t the vehicle.

Comfort
Storing driving positions
  System which stores the electrical settings of 
the driver's seat and door mirrors as well as 
the head-up display settings. It enables you to store up to two positions using the buttons on
the side of the driver's seat.

The welcome function assists entry and leaving

 After switching off the ignition and openingthe driver’s door, the seat moves back 
automatically and then stays in this position,
ready for the next entry to the vehicle. 
  When switching on the ignition, the seat movesfor ward to the stored driving position. 
 When moving the seat, take care that no 
person or object hinders the automatic 
movement of the seat.
  To activate or deactivate this function, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.

Heating and Ventilation 
The air circulating in the passenger compartment 
is filtered and originates either from the outside via
the grille located at the base of the windscreen or 
from the inside in air recirculation mode.  
Controls
The incoming air follows various routes
depending on the controls selected by 
the driver, the 
front passenger and rear passengers, according to the level of equipment.
The temperature control enables you to obtain
the level of comfor t required by mixing the air of 
the various circuits.The air distribution control enables you toselect the air vents used in the passenger compar tment by the combined use of theassociated buttons.
The air flow control enables you to increase or reduce the speed of the ventilation fan. 
These controls are grouped together on controlpanel  Aon the centre console.

The air conditioning can only operate with the engine running.
1. Temperature adjustment
