Service overdue
For 5 seconds after the ignition is switched on, the
spanner flashesto indicate that the service must
be carried out as soon as possible.
Example:the ser vice is overdue by 18 6 miles(300 km).
For 5 seconds after the ignition is switched on,
the screen indicates:
The distance remaining may be weighted by the time factor, dependingon the driving conditions.
Therefore, the spanner may also come
on if you have exceeded the two year service interval.
Following this operation, if you wish to disconnect the battery, lock the vehicle and wait at least five minutes for the zero reset to be taken into account. 5 seconds a
fter the ignition is switched on,
the distance recorder resumes its normal
operation. The spanner remains on.
Service indicator zero reset
After each ser vice, the ser vice indicator mustbe reset to zero.
The procedure for resetting to zero is as
follows: ) switch off the ignition, )
press and hold the trip distance recorder
zero reset button,
) switch on the ignition; the distance recorder
display begins a countdown, ) when the display indicates "=0", release
the button; the spanner disappears.
Retrieving the serviceinformation
You can access the ser vice information at any
time.
)Press the trip distance recorder zero reset button.
The ser vice information is displayed for a
few seconds, then disappears.

for this component. Brake wear depends on the st
yle
of driving, par ticularly in the case
of vehicles used in town, over shor t
distances. It ma
y be necessary to
have the condition of the brakes checked, even between vehicle services.
Unless there is a leak in the circuit, a drop in
the brake fluid level indicates that the brake pads are worn.

This system does not require any routine servicing. However, in
the event of a problem, have the
system checked by a PEUGEOT

Only use products recommended by PEUGEOT or products of equivalentquality and specification. In order to optimise the operationof units as impor tant as the braking system, PEUGEOT selects and offersvery specific products.
To a v o i d d a m aging the electrical units,the use of a high pressure washer in the engine compar tment is strictly
prohibited.
Parking brake
If excessive travel or a loss of effectiveness of this system isnoticed, the parking brake must
be checked, even between
tw
o services.
Checking this system must be done by aPEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
