Head restraint height and angle adjustment
)To lower the head restraint, press the lug Aand, going beyond the stiff point, guide the head restraint downwards, then release the
button at the desired position.
)To raise the head restraint, guide it upwards to the desired position.)To remove the head restraint, press the two lugs B and pull the head restraint upwards. )To put the head restraint back in place,
engage the head restraint stems in the
openings keeping them in line with the seat
back. Check that it has engaged by pulling it upwards.

The head restraint is fitted with a locking mechanism which prevents itfrom lowering; this is a safety device incase of impact.The adjustment is correct when theupper edge of the head restraint is level with the top of the head.Never drive with the head restraintsremoved; they must be in place andadjusted correctly.

Mirrors
Each fitted with an adjustable mirror glassproviding the lateral rearward vision necessaryfor overtaking or parking. They can also befolded for parking in confined spaces.
Door mirrors

If the mirrors are folded using control A ,they will not unfold when the vehicle is unlocked. Pull again on control A.


The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors using the remote control can bedeactivated by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Fold the mirrors when putting your vehicle through an automatic car wash.
The objects obser ved are, in reality, closer than they appear.Take this into account in order to correctly judge the distance of vehicles approaching from behind.

Demisting - Defrosting
Demisting-defrosting of the door mirrors
operates with the engine running, by switching
on the heated rear screen (refer to the "Rear screen demist-defrost" page).

Adjustment

The system automatically manages the air conditioning, air flow and air intake, and provides optimum distribution towards the
windscreen and side windows.
Adjust the temperature control to quickly

Depending on the depar ture time chosen, the system calculates automatically the optimum
time to star t operating.


The immediate or programmedactivation of Ventilation mode depends on the temperatures inside and outsidethe vehicle.


Always switch off the programmableheating while refuelling to avoid any riskof fire or explosion.
To avoid the risk of intoxication andasphyxiation, the programmable heating must not be used, even for shor t periods, in an enclosed area such as a garage or workshop not equipped with exhaust gas extraction.
Do not park the vehicle on an inflammable surface (dry grass, dead leaves, paper…), there is a risk of fire.


Using these two clocks and according to season you can, for example, select one or the other depar ture time. A message in the instrument panel screen confirms your choice.
Only one programmed or immediatepreheating/preventilation can beactivated between two starts of thevehicle.
The heating and the ventilation inimmediate or programmable mode isnot activated when: - the fuel level is too low,- the battery is not sufficientlycharged.
To p r ogramme the heating and the ventilation, it is necessary to firstdeactivate
the alarm volumetric and tiltmonitoring (see the "Alarm" section).

If the key is left in the ignition switch,there is an audible signal on opening the driver's door.

If one of the star ting conditions is not met, a reminder message appears inthe instrument panel screen. In somecircumstances, it is necessary to turn the steering wheel slightly while pressing the "STA R T/STOP" button to assist unlocking of the steering; a message warns you when this is needed.


If the vehicle is not immobilised, theengine will not stop.)
With the electronic key inside the vehicle,
press the brake pedal on vehicles with
automatic or electronic
gear controlgearbox, or depress the clutch pedal fully
on vehicles with a manual gearbox and
maintain pressure until the engine star ts.
