Additional USB port
Depending on version, your vehicle may be fitted with a second USB por t, located on thecentre console.
When in use, the USB por t / Jack auxiliary
socket must not be used to charge a
por table device (risk of overload).
USB port / Jack auxiliary socket
This connection box, consisting of a JACKauxiliary socket and a USB por t, is located on
the centre console.
It allows the connection of por table device, such as a digital audio player of the iPod ®type
or a USB memory stick.
It reads the audio files which are transmitted toyour audio system and played via the vehicle's speakers.
You can manage these files using the steeringmounted controls or the audio system controlpanel and display them in the instrument panelscreen.
When the USB por t is used, the por table device
charges automatically.

Practical information
The fitting of electrical equipment or accessories which are not
recommended by PEUGEOT may resultin a failure of your vehicle's electronicsystem and excessive electricalconsumption.
Please note this precaution. You are advised to contact a PEUGEOTrepresentative to be shown the range of recommended equipment and accessories.
Installation of radio communication transmitters
Before installing any after-market radiocommunication transmitter, you can contact a PEUGEOT dealer for thespecification of transmitters which can be fitted (frequency, maximum power, aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2004/104/EC).
Depending on the legislation in forcein the country, it may be compulsory to have a high visibility safety vest, warning triangle and spare bulbs andfuses available in the vehicle.

y visiting a PEUGEOT dealer, you can also
obtain products for cleaning and maintenance(exterior and interior) - including ecological
products in the "TECHNATURE" range, topping up products (screenwash...), touch-up pens
and paint aerosols for the exact colour of your
vehicle, refills (cartridge for the temporary
puncture repair kit...), ...

GENERAL OPERATION
In very hot conditions, the system may go into stand-by (screen and sound completely off) for a minimum period of 5 minutes. The screen is the "resistive" t
ype. It is necessary to press fi rmly, particularly for "fl ick" gestures (scrolling through a list, moving the map...). A simple
wipe will not be enough. Pressing with more than one fi nger is not recognised.
The screen can be used when wearing gloves. This technology allows use under all temperatures.

speed, mileage, remaining fuel range or even GPS position to
provide useful information.

f these applications. It is available according to country,subscription contract and the version of touch screen.
For obvious sa
fety reasons, some functions can only be used whenstationary.
Using "Plug & Play", the key is recognised automatically and allows
display of the interface giving access to the applications.
