Electronic engine immobiliser

The key contains an electronic chip which has
a special code. When the ignition is switched on, this code must be recognised in order for starting to be possible.
This electronic engine immobiliser locks theengine management system a few minutes
after the ignition is switched off and preventsstar ting of the engine by anyone who does not
have the key.
Folding the key
)First press this button to fold the key.
)Press the closed padlock tolocate your locked vehicle in a car park.
Locating your vehicle
This is indicated by lighting of the cour tesy
lamps and flashing of the direction indicators
for a few seconds.
Guide-me-home
lighting
Make a long press this button to
operate the
guide-me-home lighting (switching on the sidelamps, dipped
beams and number plate lamps).
A second press before the end of the timed
period cancels the guide-me-home lighting.
Anti-theft protection
In the event of a fault, you are
informed by illumination of this
warning lamp, an audible signal and a message
in th
e screen.
In this case, your vehicle will not start; contact
a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.
If you do not press the button when folding the key, there is a risk of damageto the mechanism.


Keep safely the label attached to the keys given to you on acquisition of thevehicle.

Passenger doors
)On the rear doors, check that the child lock
is not on.)Remove the black cap located on the edge
of the door, using the key. )Inser t the key into the aper ture without forcing, then without turning, move the
latch sideways towards the inside of thedoor.
)Remove the key and refit the cap.




Changing the battery

Battery ref.: CR1620 / 3 volts.
Do not throw the remote control batteries away, they contain metalswhich are harmful to the environment.
Take them to an approved collectionpoint.

Switch off the ignition.)
Turn the key to position 2 (Ignition).)
Press the closed padlock immediately for a
few seconds.) Switch off the ignition and remove the key
from the ignition switch.
The remote control is fully operational again. Followin
g disconnection of the vehicle battery,replacement of the remote control battery or in the event of a remote control malfunction, you can no longer unlock, lock or locate your
vehicle.) First of all, use the key in the lock to unlock
or lock your vehicle.) Then, reinitialise the remote control.

f the problem persists, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer as soon as possible.
If the batter
y is flat, you are informed
by lighting of this warning lamp in the
instrument panel, an audible signal
and a message in the screen.) Unclip the cover using a screwdriver in thecutout.)
Remove the cover.)
Extract the flat battery from its location.

Place the new battery into its location
observing the original direction. ) Clip the cover in place.

Panoramic sunroof System which comprises configurable light guides and a panoramic tinted glass area to increase
the light and visibility in the passenger compar tment. It is fitted with a manual blind in two par ts tomaintain a comfortable temperature.
)Take the blind by its handle and push it rear wards to the required position.

The air conditioning system only operates with the engine running.

If you put the air flow control in position 0
(system off), the temperature is no longer controlled. However,a slight flow of air can still be felt, resulting from the movement of thevehicle.

Avoid driving for too long with the system switched off (risk of misting and of deterioration of the air quality).
Pressing the "full fan"buttonreactivates the system with the settings prior to deactivation.

lamp in the button comes on and

he air recirculation symbol isdisplayed.
Air recirculation prevents exterior odours
and smoke from enterin
g the passenger compartment. It is activated automatically when
operating the screen wash.) As soon as possible, press this button
again to permit the intake of exterior air and
prevent misting. The indicator lamp in the
button goes off.
) Press this button several times in succession to direct the air flow
in turn towards:
- the windscreen, the side windows and the
footwells,
- the windscreen and side windows (demisting or defrosting),
- the central and side vents,- the central vents, the side vents and thefootwells,
- the footwells.


Air fl ow adjustment
The air flow symbol (a fan) appears in thescreen. It is filled in progressively in relation to
the value required.

reduce the air flow.

Warning triangle (stowing)
Before getting out of your vehicle to
assemble the triangle and place it on the road, put on your high visibility vest.
The dimensions o
f the triangle (once folded) or
its storage box must be:
- A: length = 438mm,
- B: height = 56
mm, -C: width = 38mm.
The location for stowing a folded triangle or its box is under the front seat.

These are the internationally recognisedvalues. Use the triangle in line with local driving
regulations.

out if the engine speed permits.
