Selecting aradio station 0003
Waveband
0004 Station frequency with memory position
i Station 0004is displayed with the station
frequency or station name. The memory
position is only displayed along with
station 0004if this has bee nstored.

Audio data from various audiod evices or
media can be played, depending on the
equipment installed in the vehicle.
X Switch on the audio system or COMAND
and activate audio CD/DVD mode or MP3
mode; see the separate operating
instructions.
X Press the 0002or0005 button on the
steering wheel to select the Audio menu.
X To select the next/previous track:
briefly press the 0003or0004 button.
X To select a track from the track list
(rapid scrolling): press and hold the
0003 or0004 button until desired
track 0004has been reached.
If you press and hold 0003or0004, the
rapid scrolling speed is increased. Not all
audio drives or data carriers support this
function.
If track information is stored on the audio
device or medium, the multifunction display
will show the number and title of the track.
The curren ttrack does not appear in audio
AUX mode (Auxiliary audio mode: external
audio source connected). Menus and submenus

To open: push button 0003up and raise
armrest 0004.
The stowage compartmen tcan be locked and
unlocked centrally using the SmartKey
(Y page 71).
i Depending on the vehicle's equipment, a
12 V socket, a USB socket, and an AUX IN
connection or Media Interface are installed
in the stowage compartment. AMedia
Interface is a universal interface for mobile
audio equipment, e.g. for an iPod ®
or MP3
player (see the separate COMAND
Operating Instructions).

To open: press marking 0003. Stowage compartment in the center

To open: briefly press the lower section of
cover 0003.
X To remove the insert: pull the left-hand
side of the insert up and out.
X To install the insert: press the insert into
the housing.
Depending on the vehicle equipment, there
may be an ashtray in the center console
instead of a storage compartment.
