Remove the fender liner bolt
and partly remove the fender
liner.
Unplug the connector while
pushing the lock release.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.

Open the back door.
Left-hand side:
Remove the bolts and lamp assem-
bly.
Right-hand side:
Remove the bolts.
Close the back door half way and
remove the lamp assembly.

the under cover.

If any of the lights listed below ha s burnt out, have it replaced by your
Lexus dealer.
● Headlight low beams (high-intensity discharge bulbs)
● Side turn signal lights
● High mounted stoplight
● Stop/tail lights
● License plate light
● Outer foot light

■High-intensity discharge (HID) headlights
If voltage to the high-intensity discharge bulbs is insufficient, the light may not come
on, or may go out temporarily. The high -intensity discharge bulbs will come on
when normal power is restored.
■LED light bulbs
The side turn signal lights, tail/stop lights, license plate light and high mounted stop-
light consist of a number of LEDs. If any LEDs burn out, take your vehicle to your
Lexus dealer to have the light replaced.
If two or more LEDs in a stoplight burn out, your vehicle may not conform to local
laws (SAE).
■Condensation build-up on the inside of the lens
Contact your Lexus dealer for more inform ation in the following situations. Tempo-
rary condensation build-up on the inside of the headlight lens does not indicate a
malfunction.
●Large drops of water are built up on the inside of the lens.
●Water has built up in side the headlight.
