Opening/Closing the Hard Top (Convertible models)

Automatic Power Windows
your po wer windows have an automatic adjusting

unction to ensure windows close completely to help

al against wind noise and weather leaks.
When the fr ont doors are being opened, the windows

omatically lower slightly to avoid contact between
the w
indows and the side roof panels.
If your vehicle’s battery is discharged or disconnected,
y
our power window automatic function will not operate.
R efer to your Owner’s Manual for information to initialize
your power window system.
If the power window functions do not operate properly

ter initializing the system, have your vehicle checked

y an INFINITI retailer.

Trunk Lid Release
Use one of the following methods to open the trunk:

Headlight Control Switch
HEADLIGHT CONTROL

urn the headlight control switch to the position
01 to turn on the front parking, side marker, tail, license

late and instrument panel lights. Turn the switch to the

02 to turn on the headlights.

olight system will automatically turn the headlights on when it is dark and off when it is

. The system will keep the headlights on for a period of time after you turn the ignition off

Conventional (Fixed Speed) Cruise Control
The cruise control system enables you to set a constant
c
ruising speed once the vehicle has reached 25 mph.
The sy stem will automatically maintain the set speed
u
ntil you tap the brake pedal, accelerate, cancel or
t
urn the system off.
T o activate the cruise control, push the ON/OFF

Speak in a clear and natural voice without pausing between words.
Look straight ahead and avoid speaking too loudly or too softly.
To go back to the previous command, say “Go back”.
To cancel a voice recognition session, say “Exit” or press and hold the

T o interrupt the system voice and give a command quickly, press the

When s peaking Phonebook names, please be aware some phones require the last name to be
s
poken before the first name. For example, “Michael Smith” may be spoken as “Smith Michael”.
To increase or decrease the volume of the voice prompts, push the volume control switches

+ on the steering wheel or turn the VOL/ON•OFF control knob on the audio system while
the sy
stem is responding.
If the Voice Recognition system does not recognize your voice commands, train the system
u
sing the Speaker Adaptation Mode. See your Owner’s Manual for detailed information.
Some c ommands are not available while the vehicle is in motion.
The “Help” c ommand can be used to hear a list of available commands at any time.

egarding your Bluetooth phone.
