PARKING BRAKE’’ message on the
multi-information display (see

When driving af ter dark, the
automatic dimming rearview mirror
always reduces the glare f rom
headlights behind you, based in
inputs f rom the mirror sensor. This
feature is always active.
However, it will turn of f when you
shif t into reverse.

Driving the vehicle with the parking
brake applied can damage the rear
brakes and hubs. A beeper will sound if
the vehicle is driven with the parking
brake on.

The outside mirrors are heated to
remove fog and frost. With the
ignition switch in the ON (II)
position, turn on the heaters by
pressing the button. The indicator in
the button comes on as a reminder.
Press the button again to turn the
heaters off.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position. When you finish, move the
selector switch to the center (off)
position. This turns the
adjustment switch off
to keep your settings. Push the appropriate edge of the
adjustment switch to move the
mirrorright,left,up,ordown. Move the selector switch to L
(driver’s side) or R (passenger’s
side).

Pull up the vanity mirror cover
to use it.
The light comes on when you pull up
the cover.
The light will not come on if the sun
visor is slid outward.
Make sure you put the sun visor
back in place when you are getting
into or out of the vehicle.
In this position, the sun visor can be
adjusted by moving it on its slider.
Do not use the extended sun visor
over the inside mirror. To use the sun visor, pull it down.
Whenusingthesunvisorforthe
side window, remove the support rod
