A.CLK:Switch between clock and radio frequency. To set the time:
1. Press and hold CLK until the hours start to flash.
2. Press the up, down, left or right arrow buttons to adjust the hours.
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to set the minutes.
3. Press CLK again to exit clock-setting mode.
B.Tune:Manually search the frequency band. Press and hold for a fast
search. In AUDIO mode, press to adjust various settings.
C.AUDIO:Adjust the sound settings for Bass, Treble, Balance and Fade.
D.SEEK:Access the previous or next strong station on the frequency
band.
E.Memory presets:Store your favorite stations for later access. When
tuned to any station, press and hold a preset button until sound returns.
F.AM/FM:Select a frequency band.
G.VOL-PUSH:Press the power control to turn the system on and off.
Turn to adjust the volume.

Note:Some features, such as SIRIUS satellite radio, may not be available
in your location. Check with your authorized dealer.
A.RADIO:Access the radio screen. Press the buttons below the radio
screen to select different audio system functions.
B.CD:Access CD mode. Press the function buttons to select on-screen
options of Repeat or Shuffle.
C.Memory presets:Store your favorite stations for later access. Repeat
for each frequency band and each preset button.
1. Press RADIO and select a frequency.
2. Tune to the desired station.
3. Press and hold one of the preset buttons. The system momentarily
mutes as confirmation the station is stored.

Note:Most of the audio features are controlled through the MyFord

A.VOL/Power:Press to turn the system on and off. Turn to adjust the
volume.
B.Eject:Eject a CD.
C.CD Slot:Insert a CD.
D.TUNE:Search the frequency band in individual increments.
E.Memory presets:Store your favorite stations for later access. When
tuned to any station, press and hold a preset button until sound returns.
F.Seek/Reverse/Fast Forward:
•In radio mode, select a frequency band and press one of the seek
buttons. The system stops at the first station it finds in that direction.

•In SIRIUS mode, select the previous or next channel. If a specific
category is selected, (Jazz, Rock, News, etc.), use the seek buttons
find to the previous or next channel in the selected category.
•In CD mode, select the previous or next track.
G.MEDIA:Access different audio modes, such as AM, FM and A/V Input.

WARNING:For safety reasons, do not connect or adjust the
settings on your portable music player while the vehicle is moving.
WARNING:Store the portable music player in a secure location,
such as the center console or the glove box, when the vehicle is
in motion. Hard objects may become projectiles in a collision or sudden
stop, which may increase the risk of serious injury. The audio extension
cable must be long enough to allow the portable music player to be
safely stored while the vehicle is in motion.
The auxiliary input jack (AIJ) allows
you to connect and play music from
your portable music player through
the vehicle speakers. You can use
any portable music player designed
for use with headphones. Your audio
extension cable must have male
18-inch (3.5 millimeter) connectors at
each end.
1. Make sure the vehicle, radio and portable music player are turned off
and the transmission is in positionP.
2. Plug the extension cable from the portable music player into the AIJ.
3. Turn on the radio. Select either a tuned FM station or a CD.
4. Adjust the volume as desired.

Satellite Radio Electronic Serial Number (ESN)
You need your ESN to activate, modify or track your satellite radio
account. When in satellite radio mode, you can view this number by
pressing SIRIUS and memory preset 1 at the same time.

D.A/C:Press to turn air conditioning on or off. Air conditioning cools
the vehicle using outside air. To improve air conditioning when starting
your vehicle, drive with the windows slightly open for two to three
minutes.
E.Recirculated air:Press to switch between outside air and
recirculated air. When the LED on the button is lit, the air currently in
the passenger compartment is being recirculated. Using recirculated air
can reduce the time needed to cool the interior and reduce unwanted
odors from entering your vehicle. Even when this button is not selected,
air may still recirculate in some instances in order to reduce vehicle
warm-up time in cold conditions or cool-down time in hot conditions.
Note:For better cooling in hot conditions, recirculated air automatically
engages when the air distribution control is in Panel or Panel/Floor
modes and the air conditioning is on. You can switch to fresh air by
pressing the recirculated air button again.
Note:You may notice changes in sound between recirculated mode and
other airflow modes.
F.MAX A/C:Distributes recirculated air through the instrument panel
vents to cool the vehicle. This position is more economical and efficient
than normal A/C.
G.Temperature control:Controls the temperature of the air circulated
in your vehicle. Turn to select the desired temperature.
H.Fan speed control:Controls the volume of air circulated in your
vehicle. Turn to select the desired fan speed or switch off. If you switch
the fan off, the windshield may fog up.
I.Power:Press to turn the system on and off. When the system is off,
outside air is prevented from entering the vehicle.

temperature on the passenger side of the vehicle.
I.Fan speed control +:Press to increase the volume of air circulated in
your vehicle.
J.AUTO:Press to turn on fully automatic operation. Select the desired
temperature using the temperature control. The system automatically
determines fan speed, air distribution, A/C operation, and outside or
recirculated air, to heat or cool the vehicle to maintain the selected
temperature.
K.Fan speed control - :Press to decrease the volume of air circulated
in your vehicle.
