For safety reasons, the driver must only carry out these operations using the audio system screen when stationary. You can memorise up to 5 speeds in the s
ystem.
By default, some speeds are already memorised.

Selection

To select a memorised speed:)Press and hold the "+" or "-" button; thesystem stops at the nearest memorised speed. )Press and hold the "+" or "-" button again to select another memorised speed.
A reminder of the speed and the state of thesystem (active / inactive) is displayed in the
instrument panel.

Emergency or
assistance call

This system allows you to make an emergency
or assistance call to the emergency ser vices or
to the dedicated CITROËN ser vice.
Audible warning system to alert other roadusers to an imminent danger.
) Press the central part of the multifunction steering wheel.
Use the horn moderately and only in the following circumstances:- immediate danger,- over taking a cyclist or pedestrian, - approaching a location lacking visibility.

Load reduction mode
System which manages the use of certainfunctions according to the level of charge
remaining in the battery.
When the vehicle is being driven, the load
reduction function temporarily deactivates cer tain functions, such as the air conditioning,
the heated rear screen...
The deactivated functions are reactivated
automatically as soon as conditions permit.
System which manages the duration of use of
certain functions to conserve a sufficient level
of charge in the battery.
After the engine has stopped, you canstill use functions such as the audio and
telematics system, windscreen wipers, dipped
beam headlamps, cour tes
y lamps, etc. for a maximum combined duration of about forty minutes.








Energy economy mode
Switching to economy mode

A message then appears in the instrument panel screen indicating that the vehicle has
switched to economy mode and the active
functions are put on standby.
If a telephone call is being made at this time,it will be maintained for around 10 minutes with
the Bluetooth hands-free system of your audio
system.


Exiting economy mode

These functions are reactivated automatically
next time the vehicle is driven.) In order to resume the use of thesefunctions immediately, star t the engine and
let it run:
- for less than ten minutes, to use
the equipment for approximatelyfive minutes,
- for more than ten minutes, to use theequipment for up to approximately
thirty minutes.

Let the engine run for the duration specified toensure that the battery charge is sufficient.
Do not repeatedly and continuously restar t theengine in order to charge the battery.
A flat battery prevents the engine from star ting (refer to the "Battery" section).

The fitting of electrical equipment or accessories which are not recommended by CITROËN may resultin a failure of your vehicle's electronicsystem and excessive electricalconsumption.
Please note this precaution. You are advised to contact a CITROËNrepresentative to be shown the range of recommended equipment and accessories.


Installation of radio communication transmitters

Before installing any after-market radiocommunication transmitter, you can contact a CITROËN dealer for the specification of transmitters which can be fitted (frequency, maximum power, aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2004/10 4/EC).
Depending on the legislation in force in the country, it may be compulsoryto have a high visibility safety vest,warning triangle and spare bulbs andfuses available in the vehicle.
