Access

Automatic mode


During automatic operation of the roof in zone A, pressing the control stops
the roof.
During complete opening of the roof,the rear screen comes down onto the
rear shelf. Ensure that no object is lefton the shelf which might damage therear screen or the roof.

Automatic opening of the roof in zone Bis not possible if the boot is open. In the event of a problem, check that the boot is fully closed


During an operation in zone B
, an instruction to stop the roof is notpossible.
Pressing the control reverses the direction of movement of the roof,whichever direction the control ispressed.
This "anti-panic" function allows a quick
change in direction of movement of theroof if suddenly required.

Release the control: opening of the roof continues up to the maximum horizontal
position (position 2).
) In zone B
, a press on the control opens the
roof completely (position 3).)In zone A, press the control beyond the point of resistance to begin opening theroof.

Access
If the roof stops in zone B
, a message in thescreen will ask you to stop the operation of the roof immediately. )Press and hold the control:
- in the opening direction to reachposition 3,- in the closing direction to reach position 2.


Reinitialisation

Do not release the control during thereinitialisation procedure.

Downgraded operation
Manual opening and
closing
This procedure must be carried out withthe engine running.
Do not manually open the roof in zone Bwhen the boot is open.
In the event o
f a failure, the roof can be
operated manually. If the automatic roof operation mode is lost, the
s
ystem must be reinitialised. ) Press and hold the control for closing the
r
oof.) After about 5 seconds, the roof closes completely to position 0
, then reverses by a few millimetres.
The roof is the reinitialised.
)Insert fully a 4 mm allen key (not supplied)in the hexagonal socket accessible through
the aper ture provided in the upper boot

im. )Opening and closing of the roof is obtainedby turning the allen key in the appropriate direction.

You must not drive when the roof isstopped in zone B .

Boot


Opening
)After unlocking the vehicle using theremote control or the key, press the
opening control and raise the boot lid.
Closing
) Lower the boot lid by pressing on the
middle of its finisher.
If the boot is not closed correctl

by a message on the multifunctionscreen for a few seconds,
-when the vehicle is moving (speed above 6 mph (10 km/h)), this warning lamp comes
on, accompanied by an audible signal and

few seconds.

It is strongly recommended not to lower the boot lid by pressing on either end.

If the boot is not fully closed, openingthe roof in zone Bis not possible.Check that the boot is fully closed.

If the roof is carrying out an opening operation in zone B, an action on the boot opening
control causes the roof to close. The boot will be released when the roof reaches position 2 . You can then raise the boot lid.
Conditions for opening the boot with the roof in zone B
To avoid inter ference between the boot and the roof in zone B, opening the boot depends
on the position of the roof.
If the roof is carrying out a closing operation in zone B , an action on the boot openingcontrol has no effect on the roof operation, but the boot will only be released once the roof has reached position 2. You can then raise the boot lid.
During an opening or closing operation of the roof in zone B
following an "anti-panic" function, the boot opening control is inhibited. It will work again once the roof has reached position 2
or position 3.
If the roof is position 3
, an action on the boot opening control causes the closing of theroof to position 2. When the roof has reached this position, the boot lid will be released. You can then raise the boot lid.

) Insert a small screwdriver into hole Aof each lateral latch to unlock the boot.)
Fold back the rear seat to gain access to
the two latches, from inside the boot.

Before opening the boot, ensure thatthe roof is not in zone B.

Open the boot. )
Remove the access flap from the corresponding side trim panel.)Unscrew the butterfly nut securing the lamp unit.)
Unclip the lamp unit connector.)
Extract the lamp unit carefully pulling it in line towards the outside.


Changing direction indicator (4) and foglamp or reversing lamp(5) bulbs
)
Turn the bulb a quar ter turn and change it.


Changing LED sidelamps and
brake lamps (LEDs)
For the replacement of this type of LED lamp, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
wor
kshop.

3D rear lamps
To r efit, carry out these operations in reverse order.
Take care to engage the lamp unit in its guides,while keeping it in line with the vehicle.
Amber or red bulbs, such as thosefor the direction indicators and rear foglamp, must be replaced by bulbs of the same rating and colour.

Changing a fuse
)To unclip the upper boot trim, pull it down, star ting on the left.)Remove the trim by tipping it downwards.)Change the fuses.
To reassemble, carry out these operations in reverse order, star ting at the back of the boot.

If the roof is in zone Bwhen a fuse fails, it is then not possible to open the boot. To be able to open the boot and proceed with fuse replacement, first close the roof manually from inside the boot (by folding the rear seats). There are three
fuses for the soft top roof.
