After the ignition has been switched off, the headlamps remain on briefly to make your exit from the vehicle easier when the light is poor.
ASR and ESP systems
These systems are linked to assure the
directional stability o
f the vehicle, within the
limits of the laws of physics.
Glass panoramic sunroof
This roof provides incomparable visibility and light in the passenger compartment.
Rear parking sensors / Reversing camera
These two systems warn you if an obstacle is detected behind the vehicle
when reversing.

Stop & Start
This system puts the engine
temporarily into standby
during stops in the traffic (red lights, traffic jams, etc....). The
engine restar ts automatically as soon as you want to move
off. The Stop & Start systemreduces fuel consumption, exhaust emissions and thenoise level when stationary.

If the levels are not correct, top up the levels
which are low.A.With the ignition on, the level of fuelremaining is displayed in the digitalinstrument panel B. With the ignition on, the oil level indicator should display "OIL OK"for a few seconds. Li

warning lamps come on.
With the engine running, these warning lampsshould go off almost immediately, with theexception of the warning lamp C(passenger's front airbag activated) which goes off after
approximately one minute.

Rear parking sensors System comprising four proximity sensors, located in the rear bumper.
This detects obstacles
(person, vehicle, tree, gate, etc.) behind the vehicle. However, itcannot detect obstacles located just below thebumper. Activation
The system is activated as soon as reverse gear is engaged, accompanied by an audiblesignal. The proximity information is given by:
- an audible signal, which becomes more
rapid as the vehicle approaches the
obstacle,
- a
graphic in the multifunction screen, with
blocks which become increasingly closer to
the vehicle (depending on version).
Detection zone
When the distance between the rear of thevehicle and the obstacle is less than thirtycentimetres, the audible signal becomescontinuous and the "Danger" symbol appears
in the multifunction screen.
On completion of the manoeuvre, when you exit
reverse gear, the system becomes inactive. An object, such as a stake, a roadworks cone or any other similar object may be detected at the beginning of themanoeuvre, but may no longer be detected when the vehicle comes close to it.
The parking sensors system cannot, in any circumstances, take the place of the vigilance and responsibility of thedriver.

Fitting roof bars
To fit longitudinal and/or transverse roof bars, visit your CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
Maximum authorised weight on the roof rack: 60 kg. If the height exceeds 40 cm, adapt the speed of the vehicle to the profile of the road to avoid
damaging the roof bars and the fixings on the roof. Be sure to refer to national legislation in order to comply with the regulations for transporting objects which are longer than the vehicle.
Braking
Towing a trailer increases the braking distance.
To avoid overheating of the brakes on a longmountain type of descent, the use of engine
braking is recommended.
Tyres
)Check the tyre pressures of the towingvehicle and of the trailer, obser ving the recommended pressures.
Lighting
)Check the electrical lighting and signalling on the trailer.
The rear parking sensors will be deactivated automatically if a genuine
CITROËN towbar is used.
