Eco-driving
Eco-driving is a range of everyday practices that allow the motorist to optimise their fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Optimise the use of your
gearbox
With a manual gearbox, move off gently, change up without waiting and drive by changing up quite soon.
With the electronic gearbox stay in Easy "E"without pressing the accelerator pedal heavily or suddenly.
Drive smoothly
Maintain a safe distance between vehicles, use engine braking rather than the brake pedal, and press the accelerator progressively. These practices contribute towards a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and also helps reduce the
background traffic noise.

Control the use of your electrical equipment
Before moving off, if the passenger compartment is too warm, ventilate it byopening the windows and air vents before using the air conditioning.
Above 30 mph (50 km/h), close the windowsand leave the air vents open. Remember to make use of equipment that canhelp keep the temperature in the passenger compartment down (sun blinds, ...).Switch off the air conditioning as soon as the desired temperature is attained.Switch off the demisting and defrosting controls, if not automatic.


Switch off the headlamps and the foglamp whenthe level of light does not require their use.

Avoid running the engine before moving off,particularly in winter; your vehicle will warmup much faster while driving.

As a passenger, if you avoid connecting your multimedia devices (film, music, video game...), you will contribute towards limitingthe consumption of electrical energy, and soof fuel.
Disconnect your por table devices beforeleaving the vehicle.

The air conditioning system does not contain chlorine and does not presentany danger to the ozone layer.


Recommendations for use
If the interior temperature remains very high after a prolonged period parked in the sun, first ventilate the passenger compartment for a few minutes. For an even air distribution, make sure thatyou do not block the outside air inlet grille, the vents, the air passages and the air outlets to the footwells.Ensure that the passenger compartmentfilter, located below the windscreen, in the engine compartment, is in good condition. Have the filter elements replaced regularly.If you drive in dusty conditions, changethem twice as often.Operate the air conditioning system for 5 to10 minutes, once or twice a month, to keepit in perfect working order. In order to ensure that your air conditioning system continues to operate correctly, youare advised to have it checked regularly.The condensation created by the air conditioning results in a flow of water under the vehicle when stationary which isperfectly normal.If the system does not produce cold air, do not use it and contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

requirements.

When the ignition is switched on, turn the control to obtain a flow of air which is sufficient
to ensure your comfort.
To maintain a certain level of comfort in the
passenger compartment, avoid position 0whenever possible.
In position 0
, a slight flow of air, due to the
movement of the vehicle, can still be felt. The air conditionin
g will not operate if the air flow adjustment control 3 is in position 0.
To quickly obtain cooled air, you can use air recirculation for a few moments. Then return to exterior air intake.
