The engine speed is automatically lim ited to
the speed disp layed in the driver information
system. This protects the engine from over h eat ing.
The engine speed limitation deactivates once
the eng ine is no longer in the cr it ica l tempera
ture range and you have released the acce lera
tor peda l on ce.
If the engine speed lim itation was act ivated
by an eng ine control malfunction , the ind ica
tor light
(3B also turns on . Make sure that the
speed does not go above the speed displayed .
