Using the cruise control when it is not possibl e
t o drive safely at a constant speed can b e dan­
gerous
Never use cruise control when dri ving in
h eavy or varying traffic or when you cannot keep
a safe distance betwe en you and the ve hicle s ahead of you. Never use cruise contro l on ste ep , winding, or slippery roads (s uch grav el roads, wet roads, or sno\vy or icy road s) or on road s with standing
wat er.
Never use cruise control when driving off­
