Interior features
Using the steering wheel audio switches
Turning on the powerPress when the audio system is turned off.
The audio system can be turned off by holding down until you hear a
beep.
Some audio features can be cont rolled using the switches on the
steering wheel.

Adjusting the volume
Press “+” on to increase the volume and “-” to decrease the vol-
ume.
Press and hold to continue increasing or decreasing the volume.
Selecting a radio station Press to select the radio mode.
Press to select a preset station.
To scan for receivable stations, press and hold until you hear a
beep.

■If the tire pressure warning system is inoperative
The tire pressure warning system will be disabled in the following condi-
tions:
(When the condition becomes normal, the system will work properly.)
●If tires not equipped with tire pressure warning valves and transmit-
ters are used.
●If the ID code on the tire pressure warning valves and transmitters is
not registered in the tire pressure warning computer.
●If the tire inflation pressure is 73 psi (500 kPa, 5.1 kgf/cm2 or bar) or
higher.
The tire pressure warning system may be disabled in the following condi-
tions:
(When the condition becomes normal, the system will work properly.)
●If electronic devices or facilities using similar radio wave frequencies
are nearby.
●If a radio set at similar frequencies is in use in the vehicle.
●If a window tint that affects the radio wave signals is installed.
●If there is a lot of snow or ice on the vehicle, in particular around the
wheels or wheel housings.
●If non-genuine Toyota wheels are used. (Even if you use Toyota
wheels, the tire pressu re warning system may not work properly with
some types of tires.)
●If tire chains are used.
■If the tire pressure warning light frequently comes on after blinking
for 1 minute
If the tire pressure warning light comes on after blinking for 1 minute fre-
quently when the engine switch is turned to the “ON” position, have it
checked by your Toyota dealer.
■ Customization that can be co nfigured at Toyota dealer
The vehicle speed linked seat belt reminder buzzer can be disabled.
(Customizable features P. 485) However, Toyota recommends that the
seat belt reminder buzzer be operational to alert the driver and front passen-
ger that the seat belts are not fastened.

SRS, ouvrez une porte ou une vitre pour faire entrer de l'air frais, ou bien
descendez du véhicule si cela ne présente pas de danger. Essuyez tout
résidu dès que possible afin d'éviter d'éventuelles irritations de la peau.
● Si les parties renfermant les airbags SRS, telles que la garniture du volant
et les garnitures de montants avant et arrière, apparaissent abîmées ou
craquelées, faites-les remplacer par votre concessionnaire Toyota.
■ Modification et mise au rebut des éléments du système de sacs de
sécurité gonflables SRS
Consultez impérativement votre concessionnaire Toyota si vous avez besoin
d'intervenir sur votre véhicule ou de procéder à l'une des modifications

Les airbags SRS risquent de ne pas fonctionner correctement ou de se
déployer (gonfler) accidentellement, provoquant ainsi des blessures graves,

tableau de bord, de la planche de bord, des sièges ou de leur garnissage,

● Réparations ou modifications des ailes avant, du bouclier avant ou des
flancs de l'habitacle.
● Installation de chasse-neige, de treuils, etc., sur la calandre (pare-buffle,
pare-kangourou, etc.).
● Modification du système de suspension du véhicule.
● Installation d'appareils électroniques, tels qu'un radioémetteur/récepteur
ou d'un lecteur CD.
● Aménagements du véhicule visant à permettre sa conduite par une
