Automatic release
The electric parking brake releasesautomatically and progressively with the
movement of the vehicle,select position A, Mor Rthen press the accelerator.
Full release of the parking brake is confirmed by:


- the brakin
g warning lamp and of
the Pwarning lamp in the control lever Agoing off,

- displa
y of a message.


When stationary, with the hybrid systemactive, do not press the accelerator pedal unnecessarily, as you mayrelease the parking brake.
Before leaving the vehicle, check thatparking brake warning lamps in theinstrument panel and the control lever Aare on fixed, not flashing.



Immobilising the vehicle,
hybrid system active
With the hybrid system active and the vehicle
stationary, in order to immobilise the vehicle
it is essential to manually
apply the parkingbrake by pullingcontrol lever A.
The application of the parking brake isconfirmed by:
- illumination o
f the braking warning
lamp and of the Pwarning lamp in
the control lever A ,
- display of a message.
When the driver’s door is opened, a loud beep
is heard and a messa
ge is displayed if the
parking brake has not been applied.

Particular situations

In cer tain situations (e.g. star ting the engine),
the parking brake can automatically alter itsforce. This is normal operation.
To advance your vehicle a few centimetres
without star ting the engine, but with the ignition
on, press on the brake pedal and release the
parking brake by pushing then releasingcontrol lever A
. The full release of the parkingbrake is confirmed by the warning lamps in
the control lever Aand in the instrument panel going off and display of a message.
If a parking brake fault occurs while applied
or
if the battery runs flat, an emergency release is
always possible.
In order to ensure correct operation and
so your safety, the number of successive
application/release operations of the parkin
g
brake is limited to eight.
In the event of abuse, you are aler ted by a message and a warning lamp which flashes.

the vehicle's 12 V socket.) Star t the vehicle again and leave theengine running.

Adjust the pressure using the compressor (to inflate: switch B
in position "I"
; to deflate: switch B
in position "O"and press button C), in accordance with the vehicle's
tyre pressure label (located on the left hand
door aperture).
A loss of pressure indicates that thepuncture has not been fully plugged; contact a PEUGEOT dealer or qualified
workshop for assistance. ) Remove and stow the kit. )
Drive at reduced speed (50 mph [80 km/h]max) limiting the distance travelled to
approximatel
y 120 miles (200 km).
)Visit a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop as soon aspossible. You must inform the technician that you have used this kit. After
inspection, the technician willinform you whether the tyre can berepaired or must be replaced.

Beware of discharges of fluid.
The expiry date of the fluid is indicated on the car tridge.The sealant car tridge is designed for
single use; even if only partly used, itmust be replaced. After use, do not discard the car tridge into the environment, take it to anauthorised waste disposal site or aPEUGEOT dealer.
Do not forget to obtain a new sealantcartridge, available from PEUGEOT dealers or from a qualified workshop.



Checking tyre pressures/
inflatin
g accessories

You can also use the compressor, without injecting any product, to:


- check or adjust the pressure of your tyres,

- inflate other accessories (balls, bicycle
tyres...).

the manufacturer of the charger.
)Reconnect starting with the negative
terminal (-). )Check that the terminals and connectorsare clean. If they are covered with sulphate (whitish or greenish deposit), remove themand clean them.

Connect the red cable to the positive
terminal (+) of the flat battery A, then to the
positive terminal
(+) of the slave battery B.) Connect one end of the green or black cable to the negative terminal (-) of theslave battery B.)
Connect the other end of the green or blackcable to the ear th point C
on your vehicle (engine mounting).)
Operate the star ter, let the engine run.)
Wait until the engine returns to idle and disconnect the cables.

)Press ver tically on the clip 1to position itcorrectly against the battery. )Lock the clip by spreading the positioning lug and then lowering the tab 2.

Do not force the tab as locking will not
be possible if the clip is not positioned correctly; star t the procedure again.

Do not attempt to charge the high voltage battery.

Practical information
System which manages the duration of use of certain functions to conserve a sufficient level
of charge in the battery.
After the engine has stopped, you can still use functions such as the audio andtelematics system, windscreen wipers, dipped
beam headlamps, cour tesy lamps, etc. for a maximum combined duration of aboutforty minutes.








Energy economy mode


Switching to economy
mode
A message then appears in the instrument
pane
l screen indicating that the vehicle has
switched to economy mode and the activefunctions are put on standby.
If a telephone call is being made at this time, it
will be maintained for around 10 minutes with
the Bluetooth hands-free s
ystem of your audio
system.


Exiting economy mode

These functions are reactivated automaticallynext time the vehicle is driven.)In order to resume the use of these functions immediately, star t the engine and let it run:
- for less than ten minutes, to use
the equipment for approximately five minutes,
- for more than ten minutes, to use the
equipment for up to approximatel
ythirty minutes.

Let the engine run for the duration specified toensure that the battery charge is sufficient.
Do not repeatedly and continuously restar t
the engine in order to charge the battery.
A flat battery prevents the engine from star ting (refer to the "Battery" section).
