In this position, the cour tesy lamp comes on gradually:

Anti-slip regulation (ASR)
and electronic stability
programme (ESP)
The anti-slip regulation (also known as Traction Control) optimises traction to prevent skidding
of the wheels, by acting on the brakes of thedriving wheels and on the engine.
The electronic stability programme acts on the
brake o
f one or more wheels and on the engine to
keep the vehicle on the trajectory required by the
driver, within the limits of the laws of physics.
This is indicated b
y flashing of this
warning lamp in the instrument panel.



The ASR /ESP systems offer exceptional safety in normal driving, butthis should not encourage the driver to take extra risks or drive at high speed.
The correct functioning of these systems depends on obser vation of the manufacturer's recommendations regarding the wheels (tyres and rims),the braking components, the electronic components and the assembly and repair procedures used by thePEUGEOT dealer network.
After an impact, have these systems checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop.



Operating fault

Illumination of the warning lamp,

y a message in the screen indicates a malfunction of
these systems.
Reactivation
These systems are reactivated automatically every time the ignition is switched of, or from
30 mph (50 km/h).) Press this button again to reactivate them
manually.
The lamp in the button goes off.
The symbol going off in the instrument panel
indicates the reactivation of the ASR and ESP
s
ystems.
Deactivation
In exceptional conditions (starting a vehicle
which is bogged down, stuck in snow, on soft
ground, ...), it may be advisable to deactivate
the ASR and ESP systems, so that the wheelscan move freely and regain grip.














Trajectory control systems
Activation
These systems are activated automatically each time the vehicle is started.
They come into operation in the event of a grip
or trajectory problem.The displa
y of this symbol indicates
that the ASR and ESP systems are deactivated.

the dashboard (driver's side), until the corresponding symbol appears in the
instrument panel screen.
The lamp in the button comes on. Contact a PEUGE
OT dealer or a qualified
workshop to have the ASR /ESP s
ystems checked.


Coasting with the engine off results in a loss of power assistance for the steering.

Changing bulbs
These bulbs are changed from inside the boot:
) open the boot,)
remove the access grille from thecorresponding side trim panel, )
slacken and remove the nut,
)
disconnect the lamp unit connector,)
unclip the lamp unit by lowering the tongue
and carefully extract it pulling in line
towards the outside,
)remove the four screws and lift off the bulb
holder,
)turn the failed bulb a quar ter of a turn and change it.
To r e f i t , c a r r
y out these operations in reverse order.
Take care to engage the lamp unit in its guides,
while keeping it in line with the vehicle.
Tighten sufficiently to ensure sealing, but
without damaging the lamp. 1

Changing a fuse

Installing electricalaccessories

Your vehicle's electrical system isdesigned to operate with standard or optional equipment.
Before installing other electrical equipment or accessories on your vehicle, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop. Be
fore changing a fuse:)the cause of the failure must be identifiedand rectified, )all electrical consumers must be switched
off, )the vehicle must be immobilised with theignition off,)identify the failed fuse using the tables andlayout drawings in the following pages.
To replace a fuse,
you must: )use the special tweezer to extract the fuse
from its housing and check the condition of its filament.)always replace the failed fuse with a fuse
of the same rating (same colour); using a
different rating could cause faults (risk of
fire).

The replacement of a fuse not shown in the tables below may cause a serious malfunction of your vehicle. Contacta PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.

If the fuse fails again soon after replacement, have the vehicle's electricalsystem checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.

Practical information
System which manages the duration of use of certain functions to retain a sufficient level of charge in the battery.
After the engine has stopped, you can still use functions such as the audio andtelematics system, windscreen wipers, dipped
beam headlamps, cour tesy lamps, etc. for a maximum combined duration of about
thirty minutes.








Electrical energy economy mode
Switching to economy
mode
Once this time has elapsed, a message
appears in the screen indicating that the vehiclehas switched to economy mode and the activefunctions are put on standby.
If a telephone call is being made at this time, it will be maintained for around 10 minutes with
the Bluetooth hands-free system of your audio
system.


Exiting economy mode

These functions are reactivated automatically
next time the vehicle is driven.) To restore these functions immediately,start the engine and let it run for at least five minutes.

A flat battery prevents the engine from starting (refer to the correspondingsection).

Changing a wiper blade

Within one minute after switching off
the ignition, operate the wiper stalk to
position the wiper blades vertically on the
windscreen.


Removing

Raise the corresponding wiper arm. )
Unclip the wiper blade and remove it.



Fitting
)Put the corresponding new wiper blade inplace and clip it.
)Fold down the wiper arm carefully.



After fitting a front wiper

Very cold climate screen(s) *

Removable protective screen(s) which prevents the accumulation of snow at the radiator cooling fan.
Depending on version, you have one or two screens.
Fitting

Offer up the corresponding screen to thelower or upper section of the front bumper. )
Press around its edge to engage its fixing clips one by one.


Removal
)
Use a screwdriver as a lever to releaseeach of the fixings of each screen in turn.
