Fitting a wheel
Fitting the spare wheel
If your vehicle is fitted with alloy wheels, when tightening the bolts on fitting, it isnormal to notice that the washers do not come into contact with the spare wheel.
The wheel is secured by the conical surface of each bolt.
After changing a wheel
To store the punctured wheel in the boot correctly, first remove the central cover. Have the tightening of the bolts and thepressure of the spare wheel checkedby a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop without delay. Have the punctured wheel repaired and refitted to the vehicle as soon as possible.

Pre-tighten the bolts using the

Disconnecting the cables

Raise the locking tab fully.
Reconnecting the cables
)Position the open clip 1of the cable on the positive terminal (+) of the battery. )Press ver tically on the clip 1
to position it correctly against the battery. )Lock the clip by spreading the positioning
lug and then lowering the tab 2.
Do not force the tab as locking will not
be possible if the clip is not positionedcorrectly; star t the procedure again.

ging your battery when it is flat or for star ting the engine using another battery.
The battery is located under the bonnet.To gain access to it: )open the bonnet using the interior release lever, then the exterior safety catch, )secure the bonnet stay, )remove the plastic cover on the (+)
terminal.

- ensure that the mat is positioned and
secured correctly,
- never fit one mat on top of another.

Installation of radiocommunicationtransmitters
Before installing any after-market radiocommunication transmitter, you can
contact a PEUGEOT dealer for thespecification of transmitters which can be fitted (frequency, maximum power,aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2004/10 4/EC).
Depending on the legislation in forcein the country, it may be compulsory to have a high visibility safety vest,warning triangle and spare bulbs andfuses available in the vehicle. B
y visiting a PEUGEOT dealer, you can also
obtain products for cleaning and maintenance (exterior and interior) - including ecological products in the "TECHNATURE" range, toppingup products (screenwash...), touch-up pens and paint aerosols for the exact colour of your

Mats Removable carpet protection.
When
fitting the mat for the first time, on the
driver's side use only the fixings provided in the
wallet attached.
The other mats are simply placed on the carpet.

To a v o i d a ny risk of jamming of the pedals:
- only use mats which are suited tothe fixings already present in thevehicle; these fixings must be used,
- never fit one mat on top of another.
The use of mats not approved by PEUGEOT may inter fere with access tothe pedals and hinder the operation of the cruise control / speed limiter.
To remove the mat on the driver's side: ) move the seat as far back as possible, )
unclip the fixings, )
remove the mat.
